Great, fast printing+scanning with PERFECT Linux support
Setup was rather easy but text input is VERY tedious so if you use a complex, random passphrase for your WIFI (and you should) you're going to struggle a little bit but it's a one time thing so not a big issue. I was able to set this up within minutes under Fedora Linux KDE. Canon provides a Linux driver and guide in its official website (which is a big plus for me and one of the reasons I went for this model) but there was no need for any of that since my distribution recognized the printer just fine by simply going over to the Printers settings and adding the printer. If the printer is connected to the same network as your PC, your Linux distro should be able to automatically recognize it without issues as well. Both printing and scanning work as expected and both functions are performed way faster and with better quality than the "old" HP AIO deskjet printer this is replacing (must be less than 3 years old and barely used). The old HP printer "works" as HP intended it to work but unfortunately that just means it's a running scam. This printer is perfect so far and will remain this way as long as it doesn't try to scam me like my previous one so only time will tell.

BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK
I needed a small wireless multifunction printer for my main floor office. In the business office downstairs I have been using a larger hard-wired Canon mutlipass for nearly 18 years with no problems so I stuck with the Canon brand. Setup was easy except for the fact that there is no download on Canon's website for the MF113w driver. So I had to use the enclosed disc to install the driver. My laptop does not have a cd slot so I purchased an external one for $17 and installed the driver in seconds. Canon needs to get that driver download onto their website, hence the one star for tech support. The printer itself is great as is the price.

Worthless as a wireless device - bad first impression: revised rating
Wireless set up is not satisfactory. I bought a cheap cable, took the printer off the trash heap, and arranged my desk to allow a direct connection. It's a decent printer and scanner, particularly for the price point. Light usage but it's decent. I needed a second printer for convenience. I qualify as an IT professional. This machine has been out of the box for 2 hours. I've just moved it to the tech-junk heap that's keep for dump runs. This is a cheap unit because it's junk. Lesson learned. Canon produces junk. Back to Brother.

Love this printer!
This printer is great! So much cheaper than buying ink all the time. I do notice that it needs cleaned a lot more often than a regular inkjet so keep that in mind.

Quiet fast laser printer
Not the greatest quality but fine for my needs. Prints quickly and itโs fairly quiet. Nice small footprint too on the shelf.

Had to send it back.
Seller's picture of the printer is not actually looks like when set up. After unpacking, the paper loader extends out the front and is very flimsy. The was no data on the setup disc and my laptop had to be rebooted in order to get the disc to eject. I then went to the internet to get the installation instructions, which were written by someone who does not know English. No cables were provided despite the photo in the ad. False advertising.
