In our travels, we met a man in India who makes these hand-made genuine leather journals from Buffalo leather following the traditions of his ancestors. Each journal is unique, hand cut and hand dyed. The colours are natural and without chemicals. The paper comes from recycled cotton and not from trees which made us feel like we were helping the environment. Even the writers of old with their fountain pens could write here as the ink will not bleed through the paper. Each journal is handmade with loving care. I really use this every day. Daily journals and documentation helps me stay focused. The pages are really thick and sturdy which I truly love. Really beautiful
This is a really beautiful journal! It caught my eye while I was going down the rabbit hole of Amazon shopping lol. It comes in a nice box too. I plan on giving it as a gift along with a glass quill and some ink. The only thing that could make it better is if it was refillable.

Satisfying Paper, Beautiful Cover
This is a gorgeous little book to write in. The detail is intricate and beautiful. The inside pages are satisfying to write on because they are like an old rough paper. It came in a fancy feeling box with a lid. The blue is a little darker than the pictures. It looks nearly black in some lighting. The cover is not too firm. Ill be buying another.

Mid-grade journal
The cover is super stiff. The pattern that is embossed in the cover beautiful. Not the highest quality leather journal, but it gets the job done. ... The paper will clog an eraser up quickly.

Beautiful journal
This is a beautiful journal. The pages are nice and thick, so ink does not show through on the other side of page. The first page is not easy to tear out. That is the only downfall I've found so far.

Eh quality but still cute.
While the cover pattern is nice, the quality of this journal is not great. I haven't written or drawn in it yet, but some of the pages are wrinkled and I wonder how well the binding will hold up over time. Also, this book was rank when I first opened it. Very chemical-y smelling. But there's still something about it that's charming and that I like. I'm still looking forward to using it.
