Was easy to install, fits fine and works as advertised. Just pop the inside plastic off, drive out the old one and put the new one in. Can be done with a screwdrier and small punch (or even a nail or something to drive out the pin that holds it)

I googled video first to make sure that I know how to do it, then I placed order here. It was super easy but required suitable tools. Really save me time and money.

Perfect for a 2016 Mazda CX-5. I watched a 3 minute YouTube video. Ordered this part. Received it the next day. The whole repair start to finish takes literally 5 mins. You just need a small screw driver to pry the inside cover off of the console lid. Use you a regular straight screwdriver to push the metal pin out (push the pointed end, not the flat end). Grab the pin end with a pair of longnose pliers and slide the pin out. Remove the broken part, and the spring. Put in the new part with the spring, push the pin back thru and then install the cover back into the console. You're Done. Saves you a lot of money $$$ by not having to take it into the car dealer too. Easy to install, good value for the money, not sure about the durability but if it breaks again at least its an easy fix.

Perfect replacement, 5 minutes to change out. Hopefully it lasts as long as the OEM one did.

identical to original. fits great. looks like good qualitywhen you remove the pin holding the broken one, figure out which end is knurled- then push from the other side as the knurled end will not want to go thru the plastic. that’s the mistake I made :)

So, my 5year old son broke my center console latch (2016 Mazda CX-5) by kicking it, so i going this as a replacement. It installed pretty easy and has worked just as well as the original. I have been using this latch for over a year and would recommend it to others.

Good quality for what you pay. It'll break in a few months from the heat.

If I had gone to mechanic it would have been a ridiculous waste of money. This part was perfect, easy to switch out with my broken piece. Check YouTube for videos on how to do - takes 5 mins.

Easy to replace! Took 5 minutes! Just popped out the large plastic portion took out the broken lever and slid the spring pin out put spring and pin on new part and snapped it back together! Done! Only tool you need is flat head screwdriver or tool to pull apart the large plastic piece and somthing small to push out the spring pin.
