I love this pineapple powder. I was using pineapple juice in my green smoothies, but once I saw this pineapple powder, I began using it, instead. I love it. I do love green smoothies, but sometimes they can taste just "too green." I still drink them, though, because they're so healthy, and smoothies contain the fiber you don't get in juice. I discovered that apple juice or pineapple juice adds a healthy sweetness but not many calories. I started using the pineapple juice, but this powder works even better. I love the fact that this is organic and a little goes a long way. I make sure to put this in my green smoothies every day, especially during this time when everyone is struggling to stay well. Pineapple juice is a superfood, filled with antioxidants and vitamin C to support a strong immune system. If you're looking for pineapple powder, you really can't go wrong with this product. And, it even comes with a scoop! Couldn't be easier to use. Keep it in the refrigerator if you're worried about freshness, but refrigeration isn't a necessity.

I use this in some iced teas and other drink mixes I make. It is so good and doesn't overpower the whole drink! It has also lasted me a long time especially when I was using it everyday!

I bought this to replace the first one from a different company that was hard as a rock, not a "powder" at all. This one is totally powder. I looked at it, but I haven't used it in my recipe yet, so I can't comment on how it tastes. With regard to the measurement/contents: its a little confusing because the package says it has 45 "scoops" which isn't a standard measurement. They incluce a little plastic scoop inside the bag. I tested it with some salt, and it equals one teaspoon. I need one cup for my recipe, so that's 48 teaspoons -and that is a standard measurement. I opened the bag and spooned out enough to fill a cup - and there was enough left in the bag to (probably) almost fill another measuring cup. So that's a LOT more than 45 teaspoons. The only explanation is that the little plastic scoop included in the bag isn't what they mean where they say the package contains 45 scoops. Maybe to them a scoop is more like a half of a teaspoon. It's rather confusing. Anyway, I'm really glad I found this stuff. It's well worth the cost.

The product itself blends quite easily in water but there was a bitter aftertaste for me. I added some stevia to the mixture to add some sweetness. I originally purchased it because I wanted the fresh and crisp pineapple juice taste without the additional carbs. I wouldn't say it's a perfect replacement but it can be a good enough alternative once you pour in a sweetener of your choice.

Organic Pineapple Powder, 8 Ounce, Freeze Dried surprised me! I bought this product because the canned version of pineapple juice was sold out. So, this powdered version fulfilled my craving. Firstly, you can fulfill any objections of the recommended spoonful of powder as being: 1) too thin, 2) Not much flavor and 3) lack of body by simply, increasing the amount of powder. Secondly, let the powder sit and dissolve throughly in the refrigerator (make it cold). It works from here!

i have no idea if this stuff has health benefits but it tastes wonderful. i decided to post this review when i found myself touching my tongue to a scoop full like i did with some kind of powdered candy as a child. it's very good. i usually buy a big thing of plain greek yogurt, plus a bunch of noosa yogurt, and add a few tablespoons of the greek to the noosa. i might save a few bucks and just get the plain greek now, because i just added a scoop of this pineapple powder and a dribble of raw honey to the plain and it was wonderful. i'm going to buy some other fruit powders to try the yogurt thing with. but next i'm going to go wild and sprinkle some pineapple powder on my nightly old-school stovetop bowl of popcorn. hmm....? no idea, but why not!
