When they arrived they did not fit properly which made it nearly impossible to get the dirt cup back onto the vacuum without lots of force and trimming the part of the rubber gasket located up by the on/off switch so the power switch could slide back and forth. It these same filters the year prior and those worked great. Having to screw around with the filter and dirt cup everytime I emptied it got old fast (plus vacuum didn't operate as good as prior to using my newest filters) . While getting ready for thanksgiving dinner guests I couldn't take it anymore. Pulled the fliter and went to trim it more than before. I didn't go crazy cutting things the first time bc the gasket still needs to be airtight or the vacuum would lose suction. I then noticed that the gasket was coming off the plastic which made te gasket stick out enough to get in the way of closing the dirt cup. I adjusted the gasket to make sure it is sitting properly on the plastic and then used a small amount of glue to prevent it from moving again.

First let me apologize to those who rated this 1 star, I usually discount the one star ratings but this time they are very accurate. These filters will not seal properly in the cup very difficult to fit, and leave a trail of dust along the side of the cup that really isn't seen at first but as you continue vacuuming there's a fine line of dust running down and alongside the vacuum. It will pick up the hair and visible debris and so you have a feeling to believe it's really working but after a while you see that real fine dust that's actually blowing out of the cup because it fails to seal. Cheap knock off crap from China. I sent them back to the shipper at my expense, cost about $4, I don't know if he's going to credit me the $14 these filters cost but now I'm invested for more dollars and shipping so I'm into it for now $18. Buy the actual genuine Eureka filter for about $18 for one filter, it would definitely be worth it. I can see why some people just threw the filters away and took the $14 loss the hassle of returning these and waiting for an answer just isn't worth it. UPDATE: after contacting and receiving a quick and proper polite response, its still a crappy product! I was told it would be several weeks to process, really?! For a $14 product? It seems to be mass high volume warehouse that turns a buck selling penny anti crap. Should have done my homework a bit more. I try to avoid east coast products (New York, New Jersey etc...) becuz of the knock off import crap they produce. My mistake for investing $4 more to mail it back! The only good thing about this ordeal is their response and respect. Some merchants would scoff this off, but it still doesnt help an inferior product.

I gave it five stars for overall rating because it is nicely made. It was not correct filter for my particular product. I have no way to rate easy to use but I'm sure it's good for it's proper housing. Eureka is a nice product to own. The filters I ordered were the part number provided to me by manufacturer. Wrong, however, for my model. It's an older hand vac so possibly not available now. However, I ordered what the company said but didn't fit. So! It will continue to sit on a shelf. Sorry. Nothing wrong with filter for right machine.

Bought this 2-pack; one fit fine, the other did not fit well at all and let dust into the vacuum cavity (71B). Quality control is probably the thing here: You may get two that fit well and work just like the Eureka branded ones, or you may get two that both fit terribly, or you may get one of each like I did. This seems typical of this sort of low-price item: a corner must be cut somewhere, and it's usually in the adherence to a quality standard. I might buy a pack again, considering the brand name filter is currently more expensive than the two-pack of these - the odds are fair that I will get a usable item for less money than the branded. If you are willing to run the risk, go for it. If you are risk-averse, buy the name brand.

The Eureka quick up washable and reusable filters came with 2 filters that fit my Rapid Clean Eureka Hand Held Vacuum perfectly. There is a slight difference when you put the two filters next to my original filter but otherwise I would not know the difference. I get the same suction and cleaning using these filters as I did with the original filter. Best part is that the filter is washable making it more versatile. Filter cleans up nicely under a little dish soap and running water and makes it easy to be ready to vacuum again with the added second filter. I also use the original filter that came with my Eureka vacuum in the mix since I have washed it, dried it and have had no issues.

I have used these for several months now and find that after allowing them to get fairly dirty, they can be cleaned easily with a garden hose.They are a little hard to fit into my Eureka hand-vac, and I usually have to really tug to get them back out. Still, it is a good deal for the money.

I bought these because it seems a lot easier to wash and rotate than purchasing the ones that have to be thrown out. Also they are more earth friendly since you are keeping them. I have not washed it yet to determine if this is too good to be true or not but so far it works just as well as the original one that came with my portable Eureka vacuum.

It does not fit perfectly I don't know if it is the mode or it is because it came in none rigid package so it get deformed during shipping/storage.But when you put it in it does work despite visible small gap here and there.

I really like my hand held vacuum and was concerned that I wasn't limited to the condition of the filter for its use so when I found out about these replacements at an affordable price I was delighted. They fit well and the manufacturer says they are washable but I haven't tried that yet. It came in bubble wrap and I wondered if the supplier had access to the items in bulk volumes and simply counted out two of them. It doesn't matter to me if that meant s/he was able to pass on savings to me.

It is a good fit to the original filter. They can be dusted off and/or rinsed off. I think they will work quite well.

Filters work well but one of them in the package doesn't fit right and i can't close the compartment. So therefore can only use one of them

Works very well, seemingly catching more than the original filter. However, it is a noticeably tighter fit... more force needs to be applied to close the container.
