Scentuals Hair Remover Pads Set

I had my reservations on how well this would work and i was mighty surprised. I had stopped shaving my legs last October due to skin irritations from eczema. I let my leg hair grow all winter and i noticed as time passed that the hair itself was thinner in color and texture. I certainly wasn't going back to the ways of shaving and ingrown hairs and the "itchies" so i looked for a product like this and this is the one i decided on. I do not regret it. I didn't experience any discomfort using it. I had used moderate pressure just as if shaving and i went in all directions(using a circular motion)(like "wax-on, wax-off") never staying focused on one spot too long. I did and still do get the occasional red bumps but thats because i have eczema and scratch my legs when they itch. It is not caused by this product. It is cheap or i should say cheaply made but it totally works for the function it's meant for. The pads that come with it are 1500 cW and i really liked that, the replacement pads i bought were only 1200 cW and are rougher but still work with a gentle circular motion and pressure. Oh and i didn't trim my leg hair before using, and it didn't rip my hair out. I couldn't even feel it. And my legs are so silky soft from being exfoliated. I "wipe" away my leg hair once every three weeks or so.

TERRIBLE PRODUCT. I'd give it zero stars if I could. Obvious poor rip off of the actual Smooth Away product which I purchased before and used happily and successfully, but needed new pads. I mistakenly thought that was what I would receive with this kit. Instead, it includes an awful and inferior product that a) doesn't work. It fails to remove the hair, and b) is irritating and abrasive to my skin. I am not tender skinned and have no skin issues. But after attempting to use these pads, my skin is sore with a burning sensation. I cannot imagine how terrible this would be for anyone with sensitive skin! In any event, it was a total waste of my money. I advise you to pass this one up and look for the actual Smooth Away product, which is what I will now be doing. I also want to add that unlike the other 7 reviewers, I did NOT receive this product for a free or reduced price. And despite their claims to the contrary, I suspect their reviews were indeed swayed by this.

product works with excessive rubbing. the adhesive on the pads were already partially revealed upon opening the package. they still stuck but are falling off quickly. seems like an old left over product.

Unfortunately this product did not deliver. Cheaply made applicator tool and a very rough sandpaper that was already peeling off the back when I pulled it out of the packaging. Very rough and abrasive, irritated my skin and left red marks even with a few slow motions. I was dissatisfied with my purchase and will not be purchasing this product again.

I really wanted to like this product. The idea seems so great. My skin is just way too sensitive. It is basically like rubbing your leg with sandpaper. It works OK if you don't need to go over the same spot more than once or twice tops. I do not recommend at all for face or other sensitive areas.

Rough on the skin and very cheap quality... did get the job done but I almost gave my self a bad burn on my upper lip

First use it irritated skin, next time I was gentle. I use it to smooth skin and it helps with razor bumps and ingrown hair.

Arrived on time. She loves it. Works well.
