This is a great product. I am on my second one due to high volume printing. Easy company to work with!

A true workhorse of a printer
The Fargo line of printers are known for their quality and affordability. I upgraded from the DTC1000 due to compatibility issues with Windows 10 and so far the 1250e has kept up the pace and continues to keep the Fargo flag flying high.

Not compatible with Mac/Do not buy if your computer lacks a CD-ROM
This card printer comes with a CD-ROM to install software (may as well be a floppy disk). I have a Mac and was unable to get drivers to install properly because Mac drivers available online are from 2015. This product is NOT compatible with Mac computers bought within the past five years.

Good Printers- Tedious return process
HID and Fargo are great names in printers but I bought 5 for my visitor management system which went on line in the fall of 2019. Within 3 weeks, 2 of the 5 peinters had failed. Return process is tedious with multiple emails and follow up emails required to even get a RMA and finally an ok to return the defective printers. Note- the other 3 and the 2 replacements bought are working fine.

Included driver software is Flash based
BE AWARE: The included software is Adobe Flash based and will no work on any updated operating systems. The HID recommended has its own cost, so factor that into your decision-making calculations. Printer itself work great if you can get the right software.

Beware this unit is USED.
The unit is used and doesn't even come with a power supply. I am returning it as soon as I receive it.
