I love this product. It is the perfect size. From the grippy insulated removable bottom to the easily cleaned and easily removable, metal infuser... it does not let any tea leaves escape to ruin your loose leaf tea drinking experience. It is great that the lid doubles as a coaster, I cannot say enough good about how much I love this tea infuser mug. I love that it is clear glass and that it has a large handle. The cute leaf design provides added appeal to my yummy cup of tea any time of day. If you like drinking loose leaf tea, you would love this product. It would make a great gift for any tea drinker. In my opinion this product would be a great thing to buy that person who seemingly has everything, or is hard to buy for. When you are in a pinch for a quick, cute and practical gift to give, this would be a great thing to keep on hand. I am going to buy a few just for that purpose.

This is probably the best tea mug you can buy, period!It has a quality stainless steel strainer with very fine mesh.It has a removable rubber base so that it does not slip and also comes with a glass lid to keep the heat in. But the double-glass wall makes the greatest difference when it comes to heat retention. You can pour boiling hot water into this cup and the most you will feel on the outside is lukewarmness. Even after half an hour or more, the tea inside is still hot.Of course, this is not a Thermos cup. It is not intended to be taken along in the car, for example. But if you are relaxing at home, wanting to enjoy a nice cup of tea, or any other hot drink, this mug will keep it at a nice, hot temperature until the very last sip.Great buy!

I don't write reviews often, but since this seems to be a fairly new product/company, I figured it can't hurt. I'm a huge fan of loose leaf tea, especially when I'm frazzled at work and need something to calm the nerves. I hate having a drippy/leaky tea ball and tons of little particles that inevitably escape into my sip. I also hate it when my tea cools down because I've been interrupted 50 million times at work before I can take a single sip from my mug.This mug is easy enough to lift with one hand, even when full - which helps when you're taking it with along to a meeting when your other hand is carrying a huge stack of memos and a note pad, etc. The double-walled glass works pretty well - though if you have black tea and really get your water up to boiling, the sides do still get a bit hot. I like that it has a lid to keep things warm while steeping, and the infuser has a silicone edge so you can remove it without scorching your fingers. The infuser also fits nicely into the lid, so you can rest it there while you drink your cuppa. The silicone sleeve on the bottom was also thoughtful, as it provides a solid ground to put your cup down and doesn't slip around or piddle on your surfaces.All in all, this seems like a very thoughtfully designed mug for tea drinkers. I think the only thing I'd change would be to make it even bigger for those who, like me, essentially drink a bowl of tea in each sitting.Packaging was simple, and the cup arrived intact, nestled in its box. I was also given a steeping guide via email - which can help if you're just trying to figure out loose leaf tea.

This is an excellent product and works as advertised. Simple to use and clean and makes a great cup of tea. I just started using loose leaf tea and was looking for a strainer to use but this caught my eye and I have nothing but praise for it. I erroneously purchased 2 and was simply going to give one away as a gift instead of returning one but I selfishly decided to keep one at the office and the other at home. I have received many compliments on it at the office and I admit it is a very nice looking mug. The only thing I would suggest is some sort of designation on the side so you know if you have added 6 oz of water. I just play it by ear (eye) so it really isn't a concern. 5 easy and well-earned stars!!

I absolutely adore my new tea steeper. Its perfect and I don't usually say that. The filter has very fine holes so tea does not accidentally fall into what I'm drinking. I love that it has a rubber bottom and it won't slide around, or break on my desk if I accidentally set it down too hard (not that I think I would do that but who knows for sure). I also love that the lif acts as a holding place for the filter when my tea has finished steeping. I would totally buy this again as a gift for someone who drinks tea.

I've been looking for a tea mug/infuser for two years that would travel easily and produce a proper cup of tea; this one definitely fits the bill. Specifically:- all glass construction (no plastic) for a cleaner taste, double-wall to hold heat- silicone top & bottom so it can go in the microwave (the only way for my wife to heat water at work)- deep, wide basket to allow a full steep- lid is designed to hold the basket after steeping so no messThe only suggestion I have is to make a metal version for people who worry about breakage (this one is sturdy and I prefer drinking out of glass to metal). Finally, the followup email I got from the maker was the most pleasant and enthusiastic I can remember getting from any company. An excellent teacup!!

Perfect in a chilly over-air conditioned office! The strainer works great, and the lid that doubles as a holder for the strainer makes for an overall optimal tea infusing and drinking experience. As awesome as the product is, the customer service is exemplary. This was purchased as a gift, and after two uses, the lid was accidentally shattered (it is a bit delicate). I emailed the company asking if we could purchase another lid, and they responded in less than 5 minutes saying they were shipping me a new lid today. Customer service is a rare find these days, and is becoming a primary reason to support a business. This small, family-run business is a gem, and their product is wonderful. I am more than happy to recommend and continue to support Leafy Grounds.
