I loved this suspenseful, raw, and emotional romance!
This story swallowed me whole and wouldn't let go even days after I finished reading it. I was enthralled with Aspen and Andersons' tale from the very first word. Aspen is smart, brave and caring, but she has never gotten over the heartbreak of losing her fiance eleven years ago. She keeps busy trying to help others in the ER and at the free clinic. She isn't ready to open her heart and take the chance of losing it again. She has been through so much hardship in her life and is determined to keep herself safe and away from change. Anderson is the mysterious, sexy tattoo artist whose mother lives next door to Aspen. Aspen and her friends have grown close to their aging neighbor and are happy to look after her when Anderson leaves for work, sometimes weeks at a time. But when he is home, he is determined to break down Aspen's walls and make her let go of all her fears. They are the perfect match for each other because they are both fighters. Anderson has also faced so much in his life and Aspen has become a source of strength for him and has shown him another path to love. Aspen is surprised at how safe she feels with Anderson. But is it worth the pain and heartache when secrets are revealed and danger is at your front door? Ms Burgoa is brilliant at creating intriguing and poignant tales with multifaceted characters that make you experience every emotion. This story is fast paced with twists and turns that are suspenseful, raw, and emotional. But through it all, there is a connection between Anderson and Aspen that is pure and healing. This story made me feel so many intense emotions of love and loss, loyalty and betrayal, passion and heartache and I loved every word of it. It makes me excited to read more about the fun and compelling friends involved in this story. I highly recommend this book!

Top read for 2017
The blurb is good. The cover is beautiful. The author is amazing. But the story… the story is breathtaking. Until I Fall will elicit feelings and emotions in a way that only some books can.Aspen and Anderson. Just the names alone make me want to go reread their story.Aspen is guarded, solely by choice. Yes, she’s experienced some loss in her life but she finds comfort in drab, monotony; the only excitement coming from medical emergencies that show up in her ER. I wanted to shake some sense into her a few times. Knock her upside the head (gently) and tell her to snap out of it! She still has SO much going for her and she’s not LIVING. Under it all she has a strength and a longing to live again that you are constantly rooting for it just may take a certain someone to pull her back to the surface.Anderson is THAT guy… I don’t even know how to describe him. Yes he’s hot, yes he has a panty-melting smile and yes he has muscles that magically glisten in the sun even when he’s not sweating. He’s the ULTIMATE book boyfriend. He’s the bad boy who loves his mama… the gun toting, world saving bad ass who can kiss your pain away. See, I can’t stop myself… I could go on and on about Anderson. He’s Aspen’s little magic pill. He is exactly what she needs. Doesn’t crowd her to the point of being uncomfortable but doesn’t let her push him away. He makes her want, need, love…I absolutely loved this book. Not only is the heart of the book a love story but it’s a realistic one, at that. There is action and a bit of covert operations stuff that’ll keep you on your toes. There’s a dog… I love when there’s a dog haha the characters are well developed and the story is well written. Even the supporting characters leave you wanting more! This was everything and more and so very well done thanks to the talented Ms. Burgoa! She hasn’t once let me down and her work just keeps getting better.I’m a fan for life. The book and Burgoa! A solid 5-star read and definitely in my top reads of 2017.

Good, but too busy.
3.5 starsI’m unsure how to write this review. It was a good story. But I felt that either it was poorly edited or the author was trying to cram so much in that paragraphs almost blended together. I had to go back and reread thinking I missed something or skipped a page. Two people having a conversation with one of them texting and then it bounces all over...it was too much too often. I also did not like the fact that the main characters were ER doctors and acted/behaved the way they did. I wish the author made them nurses or another profession instead- it would have been more realistic. I just can’t imagine an ER doctor going out and drinking 5 margaritas and hitting up clubs and getting drunk on a regular basis. It may just be me on that. But what I did like was the back story, the closeness of the friends, the unique characteristics they all had...the H (Anderson) was awesome. Loved him and his friends...he was more believable. If you can get past jumping all around (at times like a chipmunk on crack) it’s a good story. I won’t go into details about the actual story as other reviewers did, because it’s the same. This is just my opinion on how it read. Parts are sad - those I understood and where the best parts of the book. This was the first time reading this author and I’m not sure if I’ll pick up another if it’s edited or thrown together the same. But they all sound like they’d be great...

Good read!
This is my first book by this author and I really liked the cover! The book inside is pretty good too!Lots of action, emotional suspense, girls that have got her back, guys that gave got his. Fun, friends, family and tattoos, what more could you need?Anderson is all or nothing, he’s larger than life and finding his way through his. Aspen is lost, although she doesn’t know it, and fighting her own self, amongst others. This was a great story that kept the pages turning, a fab read!

Good,story
Aspen is still in a state of mourning after her fiancee died ten years before. She lives for her job as a doctor, her two best friends and not much else. Her neighbour has cancer and she meets Anderson her youngest son. There's a definite connection but Aspen tries to stay cold towards him. She finds out that he's much like her Michael in that he does dangerous things and she's not good at coping. Anderson knows that he has to make big changes to get his lady.

Okay read
Would have enjoyed more if there hadn’t been so many other complicated relationships threaded through the one developing. hence the drop in stars. Good storyline, charismatic characters but just got a bit wordy and protracted.

It's an ok read
I liked the story of this book and I thought it was ok to read when nothing else to do. But it didnt keep me excited enough or want me to keep reading and finish within a day. Also a few mistakes in the book which is annoying.

Thought provoking
The obvious research the author has put into this book, which shows in so many ways, the difficulties both physically and emotionally of someone without sight after trauma, all wrapped up in a great story, makes this book for me one worthy of high recommendation. Very well written.
