Aquarium Alder Cones are a great addition to shrimp tanks, betta tanks, and black water tanks. They provide tannins to your water, an accent to your aquascaped tanks, a grazing surface for your shrimp, and have anti-fungal properties as well as aid in lowering the pH of your water naturally. One 4 oz bag has approximately 250 cones. Alder cones are a natural product, some are smaller and some are larger. Simply boil them in a pot of water and then add 1-2 cones per gallon of aquarium water to start, adding more as you see the need.

Lots of pinecones for a good price. A little on the smaller side and stems included which was a little disappointing as they are packaged by weight. Be careful as these brown your water a ton.
