Metal, not plastic
Coming from China, delivery was NOT quick. But it is an anodized metal ring and the threads seem well machined. The price was very reasonable. I'd recommend it. Beware of plastic rings--they stick insufferably. This style ring (male:male) can be used to marry two same sized CPL's together, creating your own adjustable gradient filter. It can also be used to create your own macro lens.
