Great literacy tool for students with special needs. I use these with my middle and high school students with Autism, ADHD, and SLD. They’re a game changer for students who are easily distracted while reading or lose their place often. It isolates one sentence at a time. Very helpful.

I got these overlay transparencies for my son who is dyslexic and has ADHD, and they’ve really helped him. The material is thick enough that it doesn’t bend easily, but still thin enough to cut to the right size. He’s 11 and struggles with reading, but these overlays help keep him focused. I like that I can trim them to fit the book he’s reading, and they’re inexpensive enough to replace as needed. He prefers the ones that highlight multiple lines at once, while I use the single-line version for my first grader to help with tracking. These are a great addition for kids with reading delays, especially dyslexia. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

I got these to help read directions on needlepoint. If you have any instruction issues, these are for you. Also used to help my dyslexic daughter concentrate. Lots of words can be overwhelming. These narrow it down to line by line. They are nice and sturdy with different colors for different prints. Easy to use even with dexterity issues. I would have made them a little longer but are usable for what I do with them. They fit our needs.

These items help a lot while reading textbooks style books. Textbooks can be tedious and heavy information overload. You loose track of what you’re reading and these help in that regard. However, few of these slides came in damaged. I’ve attached one of the slides here which is the one that I am using most of the time because yellow seems to work well for me. It’s unfortunate that it’s damaged. Those little specks can be distracting while you’re reading. Especially if you have ocd. And in the long term that damaged film will eventually come off and this slide will be useless. I just wished I had looked over each slide when it first arrived. I had recently started using them so asking the seller to send another set is off the table. Overall it’s a great product and its purpose is ideal for those who lose track of what they’re reading or following along paragraphs after paragraphs. Since it was damaged, that is the reason why I took off a Star. Other than that it’s a great buy.

These were a perfect for my son’s reading help. We used these daily. There were plenty for him to have some at school and at home. The colors are wonderful too to give him variety but he says some were more difficult to see through than others. My son is a bit rough in his items & these also have not broken or ripped. Highly recommend!

Some of my projects involve working through Excel printouts and comparing them to other printouts or the computer. The highlighted line version of this is much easier on my eyes than a ruler to keep my place. The larger tinted versions are surprisingly handy while working between other printed text and the computer screen. My 60+ eyes found the darker tinted versions too dark, but there are three of each type that work well for me, so it was still a good buy. I recommend these for office work by adults as well as their intended use for young readers or people with reading-eye issues. I wish I'd known about their existence years ago!

Neg: package arrived with only 7 of the 8. The yellow strip is missing. Pros: I highly recommend these as a line keeper for reading text. As a retired reading teacher focused on children who were struggling in reading, I saw long ago the advantages of these. Now, my adult ADHD eyes and brain need more support with my own reading. These are flexible and easy to hold as one slides them smoothly down the page. My reading is now faster and more focused, as well as enjoyable. Just wish I had the missing yellow one to complete my set, but it’s not a deal breaker.
