Misleading info on box, but otherwise OK
So far so good. The ceramic sharpener seems to take off more metal and hone my knifes easier and faster than my steel rod. My only complaint with this item is that on the package (see photo), they claim the tip of the rod is plastic, so that it can stay sturdy on a surface. When I opened the package, the end of the rod was not plastic, nor did it come with a plastic end cap (see pic).

Try something else.
A waste of money. Takes a lot of strokes to get even a decent level of sharpness on all my knives. My cheap tabletop two slot sharpener does a much better job with less work.

Put the edge back on
I've only had the need to put it to use 2 times now, both times on my daily carry that I use at work. It has performed very well so far, quick and easy to use. I do recommend it and the price was fantastic.
