I bought this for my toddler and it’s such a cute and well-made toy! The wooden pieces feel sturdy and smooth, and the rainbow colors are bright and beautiful. It’s great for helping little ones learn colors, hand-eye coordination, and stacking skills while having fun. I also love that it keeps my child entertained without screens. The size is perfect for small hands, and the quality feels durable enough to last a long time. The only downside is that if it gets thrown around a lot, the paint/color can start to wear off a little over time. Other than that, it’s a wonderful classic educational toy and I would definitely recommend it to other parents!

I was hoping this stacker would be a little larger ( more like the one my daughter had as a child) but my granddaughter loves it any way! I wasn’t comfortable with her having the stacking stick (wooden part) at first but she loved hitting the round wooden pieces together! She’s old enough now and enjoys stacking the pieces! This toy will last for many years!

I absolutely love all of there Melissa & Doug products. I gave this product 4/5 stars because of the size- it is much smaller than I expected/wanted, however the description states the size (which I didn't pay attention to when purchasing). I got it for my 12 month old who loves it. I have listed my findings below. SIZE: When I measured the size I found that it was about 8.25" in height when stacked and the base is 3.5" by 3.5". The top ball piece is about 2" in diameter. The smallest circle (orange) is about 1.75" wide and the largest (purple) is about 3" wide. FEATURES: The description states that it has a rocking base, but mine doesn't "rock" like the comparable plastic Fisher Price toy. It is made of wood and painted. I have not had any chipping paint, but my daughter hasn't started chewing it yet so we will see how that holds up. CONCERNS: - Potential chipping of the paint (which hasn't occurred) and about the stick on the base when the rings are not stacked. - Long wooden stick base: I feel like if my child were holding this and fell, it could be dangerous. For this reason, I always am there supervising her when she plays with it. BOTTOM LINE: I like it and I would still purchase it even with my concerns. The paint has held up and hasn't chipped. It is smaller, but my daughter still likes it and the small size takes up less room with all her toys. I love the simplicity and durability of wooden toys, and this item is well made and I have not had any issues with it so far.

I bought this product for my grandson. This is like the one that I had when I was a kid -favorite toy. Great memories! The quality is wonderful. I can see why so many people bought this!!

I like and trust the Melissa & Doug brand, and this did not disappoint. Note, it's rather small, from a grown-up's perspective; however, it's an excellent size for little hands. I got it for my granddaughter when she was about 12 months old; she's 16 months old now, and still plays with it. I can's say that she ever plays with it for very long -- she'll stack it up two or three times, at most, and then that's it. However, over time, she plays with it again and again. The only downside is that it's easy for one of the rings (or the ball on top) to get misplaced. However, given the nature of the toy, I don't see how that risk can be eliminated. Just look carefully under cabinets and chairs!

I love this so much! I actually got 2, one for my daughter and one for my husband's cousin's daughter. It is so much nicer than the cheap plastic ones and they don't sing unnecessary and annoying songs like some stackers I've seen. These are just the right size and are so cute too! One of the features that I appreciate the most is that the stick that you stack onto is a straight stick. With some stackers, the sticks are cone-shaped and the size of the hole on each ring is different. That doesn't allow the child to put the smaller rings on the bottom. Basically, with those stackers, you can only stack the rings in the exact right order. This one isn't like that though! You can stack the rings in any order that you want which is definitely better for development because it gives them the chance to just practice stacking before they figure out the sizes and colors. I also wanted to comment on the recommended age because it is 18+ months. That is kind of ridiculous for this toy. Actually, I always have that problem with Melissa and Doug, but it isn't a big deal because their toys are so awesome and you can make your own judgment calls on what toys are appropriate for your children at different ages and stages. I'm sure 18 months is approximately when most children are able to easily and effectively stack the rings in the right order...but that doesn't mean you should wait until then to get them this. My daughter is 8 months old and loves this thing! She can just play with the pieces and watch us and her older brother stack until she is able to. For now, she prefers unstacking and that is fine too and is also an important part of her development. The quality of these pieces is fantastic and I strongly recommend this over any other stacker.

Beautiful in my daughters bedroom she likes to Throw them at her sisters head but so far we’ve avoided casualties, and when played with less violently they’re super sturdy and fun. 😂
