Poor Quality
Is there a provision to give a negative review? The bat is of very poor quality, not sure if it's original kookaburra. The bat bird the rubber strip at the bottom is just a colour green and not real rubber there. My boy played just once in nets and am seeing the green colour disappearing from one end. Also the bat seems to be used in wet surface, because am seeing water damage on bat at the bottom area Which shouldn't happen if there is a proper rubber guard.

Ok For training
This bat was bought for practice and training. It can handle regulation balls but it won't last too long doing that. The bat is a reasonable weight and adult size so I was using it to get back into cricket after a very long break. It's not going to get used in real competition though as it's not up to slogging long balls.Update....Both bats broke after about twenty training sessions with regulation balls so I would say it's only suitable for soft balls.

Poor quality
We have been through 2 of these bats with our 11-year old boy. For hardball cricket, the quality of the materials just does not seem to be fit for purpose. The handle broke on the first bat and on the second the blade cracked horribly after an off-drive. I was left wondering if the opaque covering on the blade is to hide the imperfections and poor quality of the willow used. We have had no such problems with a similarly priced Slazenger.

Good price
Very nice bat for my son, he’s a beginner but as a proper cricket make I thought I was gonna need to pay over £50 but we got it for £25. Very light and made of good wood.
