As with many of my reviews this is my personal opinion none of my reviews are compensated in any way shape or form, I retired after 40 years out of the maintenance field. These boxes are made with high quality standards. The material is sturdy and well made design. They come with a seal that wraps around and provide some water resistance. i recommend this product.

I got these to build a project into that would be in a moist location. So far (several months), the stuff in the box is still working. The clear lid lets me see the display on the timer module inside, and (so far) doesn't have any condensation on the inside.

The box stayed waterproof but sun bleached supper fast. It was easy to use and setup.

I've have 5 of these boxes with magnet Wifi sensors in them on gates outside my house. In 6 months in Tennessee with raid and hot and cold weather, none of them have leaked. One has the screws starting to rust, though, and that worries me as I won't be able to open it to replace the batteries.

Very reasonably price box for light projects. It is not such steady to be hit by hummer but you can carefully stand on it. You cannot burry it in the mud but it will handle light splash. I use it for DIN relays in garage, so it fits perfectly.

PROS: I received a box with a clear lid. It's going to work, reluctantly, with silicone sealant.CONS:1) the inner measurements are incorrect. Not critical for my application - but if you are expecting something to fit you might have better luck with another product.2) the box is not square to ANY side. Incorrect draft angles that are different on every side, unequal lengths, unequal height. Seriously, while the lid is well manufactured the box is one of the worst injection moulded parts I have seen in a few years.3) it is likely not waterproof. The supplied seal is not a one piece mould. It is nothing but a round silicone(?) strip a few inches long that presses into a groove on the lid. you will have a broken gap at the seal ends -even if the seal is cut to press tightly together- there Will likely be an opportunity for water. In addition, the box itself has flaws in the lip that meets the gasket, introducing additional possibilities of water entering. I would definitely call this splash resistant, but don't expect it to keep anything dry if directly exposed to rain.Final opinion : Recommended only if you need a box that's small, non critical, and dust /splash resistant.

Using as a project box for a konnected.io alarm panel. Sturdy plastic base and clear cover great for displaying what is inside and checking on status lights.Comes with a gasket seal to prevent dust or possibly some water.

Great little box and worked perfectly for my project, it even comes with the water tight gasket.
