A very nice set for the money
I am new to stone setting and as I am just starting out I need many things but don't have a lot of money to spend. This set fits the bill nicely. There's a nice selection of setting tips that can accommodate any sizes of stone I will be working with and for a very reasonable price. I have not had the opportunity to use them yet as they arrived just after I finished my current project using a homemade graver but I am anxious to try them out and get a feel for how they compare to my homemade gravers and I have confidence they will perform well and save me time by not having to make new ones for the various stones

Better than nothing
Cheap, easy to use, not amazingly accurate but that’s to be expected. Good enough for what I need, not for a jewelry shop

Ideal seria que el envase cubriera también el mangonear madera

Mostly Garbage
The gravers are OKish for the price. The handle that came with it is abysmal. Unlike the photos there was only one collet included; the split one that isn't bored out to the diameter of the gravers so there is no way to mount them in the handle. Also the ferrule was put on off-center and chewed up the wood handle boss badly leaving splinters right where your fingertips end up. The surface finish of the handle is terrible too, barely lacquered in places, barely sanded everywhere, gritty particles trapped in the finish, terrible profile shaping job. Would be better if the handle fitted in the plastic holder too, it is clearly designed for this.

Meh
This came missing one of the rods. The handle is course wood. It needed to be sanded and oiled before being usable… I didn’t want a handful of splinters and blisters.

Did not get all the connectors shown in the photo
The set came with only one connector shank. I haven’t used it yet so I don’t know if this will cause a problem.

Missing and broken parts
The item was missing bits and had a broken case. I was unable to get a replacement, and had to have the money returned

Inexpensive Graver will have limited number of uses
All you have to do is look at how expensive a quality Graver set is and you know that you are likely to get what you pay for with this set. They are probably OK for someone that has limited need and will not use it frequently. If you are looking for something that you will use frequently you are likely to be disappointed with this set. The materials are cheap, not that sharp and don’t penetrate metals for setting purposes easily.

missing needles
At first look, all seems to be fine. But, tools edge are not properly formed or polished. Then I notice missing needle #23, lid is cracked, handle needs a bit sanding and polishing (its made on lathe with varnish on unfinished surfers). Sending back...

Not worth the time or money
The beading tools are not properly formed or polished. The cutting edges wre rough and full of imperfections. I purchased these after my original set went missing and needed a quick replacement, I should have know better. I'm not sure what type of material was used but they skips accross anything harder than mild steel and even that ruins a tool. I tried them on silver to see if they might be useful but the rough edges and lack of proper forming leaves a rough bead. You can get a decent set for $45 plus dollars that will serve you reasonably well. Spend the money to get them. I'll use these for tightening prong settings once they've had a little work done to them. The handle will be useful...
