3-Amp Premium Fast Charger

Charges quickly and reliably !

I recently bought Lobster Elite 2 and this charger worked like a charm. Since I have not owned it for long I can't speak for long term effects, but the charger came with an instruction sheet that clearly states that "... The charger can be left connected to the batteries after full charge (green light) without harming the batteries...". Please see attached photo. I took one star off only because the item is on the pricey side for what it is.

Works great but should have come standard with the machine

I was hesitant about spending the extra to get this charger since the cost of the lobster had already been a big commitment. I must say that I was happy I did go ahead and purchase it. It really charges the machine in less than an hour, after being on court for little over an hour. Great product.

If you buy this product for a Lobster Tennis Ball machine you will need the $10.00 connector from Lobster to plug it in. It's not available at Amazon. Not clear, misleading, and to correct it will cost me $40.00 in shipping for the $10.00 part. Amazon- you need to fix this, at least make them list, describe or put a picture of the connector so it tips us that it won't connect.

Was very happy to purchase this charger thru Amazon Prime, with free 2 day shipping, unfortunately it was not compatible with our Lobster Elite model 1 ball machine. This would have been my third charge, so I opted for the 3-amp because of its more durable cord. Unfortunately after talking to a rep at Lobster Sports I need an anderson-type 3-amp charger available directly through them which means I have to pay their shipping ($26 for ground shipping, however they did discount it to $11, still high!) Unfortunately information on compatibility is not clear for this product on any website, including Lobster Sports.

Much better than the unit that comes with the machine which has such thin wiring that it was easily chewed through by a dog, not mine, but my customer's. The pricing is scandalous, hence the rating, but the unit works well enough. I imagine the pricing is a feature mostly of the incredible few units they sell compared to equipment where tens of thousands of units would garner better pricing. But it is also that they want their margin and know customers buying this type of product will pay...and we did, but not without a bad taste regarding this company left in our collective mouths.

This charger works great with my Lobster Ball machine, It charges very fast and delivery was very prompt. My only issue is the price. It really should have been included in the ball machine that cost over $1500 instead of the little dinky one it came with it.
