These are so nice! I got them especially for the Middle Eastern dishes I love and want to experiment more with, but have found them to be a really nice supplement to my daily basics and snacks, even. The harissa is great with eggs, and the berbere spice is my new favorite thing on popcorn! I'd read that sumac (which is also in the za'atar) is good for regulating blood sugar, and found a very simple recipe that highlights it in a yogurt sauce - subtle but distinct flavor, nice with roasted veggies. (The colorful little tins are also totally delightful, for what it's worth!)

Loved that they had bags inside the metal containers. I have gotten nice spices in metal containers before where this wasn't the case, from a grocery store. It didn't work out well. Upon using them 2 or 3 times in a humid climate, and then storing with the lid closed, the inside of the metal container rusted.These spicewalla products do not have that issue. They're really fresh and great tasting. Very giftable!

Can't be more pleased with the freshness and pungency of the spices in this collection. I've used each one multiple times now all with great success. I never thought I was a fan of some of them, to be honest- but either I wasn't getting fresh products like this- or the blends weren't balanced as well. Totally sent a box off as a gift- and will be back for more soon (I'm already running low on my new favorites.)

I have long wanted to mid eastern foods. But, there is no restaurant of this type for 150 miles in any direction from where I live. So, I bought these spices. Warning, there are a bit hotter than most of mine. But, I am starting out by adding a pitch to scrambled eggs, 1/2 tsp to a pot of bean and even some to bread.Some of experiments did not produce what I wanted from this. I am that I purchased these sampling. It is helping to broaden my palate. Now, I need a cookbook

Spicewalla is an excellent source for many interesting spices, along with many traditional "Western" spices. They are nicely packaged and always fresh. For re-orders it would be nice to see some larger sized packaging.

We saw this product here on Amazon and have never purchased it before, we always go for Tones or McCormick name brands. Well I can honestly say, the spices, Spicewalla uses and sells, have more aroma, freshness than those other brands. My wife is going to send them to family and friends. Great business and products Spicewalla. Two thumbs up.

It tastes great, it's soo good that you can sprinkle it on a piece of cardboard and it'll taste like a gourmet meal!

Wow !!! What a great collection of spices. The freshness and the flavors are amazing. You definitely would easily be able to use these spices on veggies or meat and incorporate them with your basic spices or use them alone.
