Oster Plastic Blender Jar

Our Oster blender is 10–15 years old: a "Simple Blend 10," Service #6630. I wondered whether Oster had changed the dimensions of the jars, but decided to risk it, and fortunately, the dimensions are the same. Both the bottom and the lid fit nicely, and we're good to go once again. For anyone who wants exact dimensions, see the photo.

The original blender jar was glass, but the plastic jar is much nice to use and clean.

I was happy to have found a plastic version for my original glass jar. My original glass jar was clover shaped, hard to find and the places that had had were charging as much as the price for a complete blender set. This one did the trick at under $10. Lots of confusion out there. The jar base cap tells you how many cups your jar should be. Mine has 6 tabs, so my jar should be 6-cups. The 5 tab base cap and the 6 tab base cap are not interchangeable.

The blender jar arrived as scheduled in perfect condition. I have had my blender for years but since I've had no problems with it I wondered if I could find a replacement jar. I'm impressed that I did.

I dropped and cracked my blender cup. This is the exact same one, and made my tired ole' blender look new. Great price as well!

Perfect replacement for the one that somehow cracked in the dishwasher. I won't replace it with glass because I will just end up breaking that even though I know glass is better for stopping odor transfer and staining, but that's just not an option for me so needed the plastic one. I have a purple Oster blender that I found about 20 years ago, and I have no desire to part with my purple blender, so went searching for a new jar. I didn't need a lid or blade or anything, just the jar. I was very happy I found one!
