Totally Lovin' This Smart Night-Light AND My Echo-Flex!
I ordered my "Made for Amazon" THIRDREALITY Smart Night-Light for Echo Flex, along when I ordered the Echo-Flex. This light came early, so I had to wait until I got my Echo-Flex today! So OK, I totally love this little light! I dearly love my Echo-Flex too! I needed these for a very small bathroom with no windows. I already had a regular nightlight in the bathroom but was concerned that when I got the Echo-Flex then both outlets would be occupied. So, when I saw this Smart Light offered when I ordered the Echo-Flex it was the perfect solution for me! Now I have the Echo-Flex, AND this very cool night-light, all set-up in my tiny bathroom, plus I still have 1 available outlet left too! This little light has multiple colors and you can ask Alexa to change them or dim the light too. Lots of other thing you can do with it too, which I am looking forwards to exploring! I never thought a night-light could be such a super cool, fun AND very useful little light! Now I am thinking of lots of other small places I can put these, which I never considered before! I love both the Echo-Flex AND this Smart Night-Light! I got to have more of them now ;) Update 01/21/2020: I got several of these lights to go with all of my Echoflex Mini Smart Speakers scattered throughout my home and garage. All of these lights seem to work very well, except for the 1st one I bought. When I request Alexa to turn it a different color or to turn it off, Alexa continually responds that the light is malfunctioning. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it several different times, It works for a day or two but then fails again. So I'm guessing it is defective. Bummer, so I'm returning it and Amazon is sending out a replacement.

Love Controlling This High Quality & Capable Night Light After I'm In Bed!
I purchased the Echo Flex for the hallway outside the master bedroom and plugged it into the same socket where, for years, I've used one of those 4W inexpensive non-adjustable night lights. Over the years, In addition to putting out barely enough light, I dealt with buying packages of bulbs only to find some didn't work out of the pack or would only last a short time and also had to replace the base numerous times when the sensor would stop working. So when I saw this "Smart Night Light for Echo Flex" I thought it would be worth the price if it worked well and would alleviate the aforementioned issues. And I couldn't be more pleased. First, adding the light is as simple as plugging it into the Echo Flex's USB port. Almost immediately the Alexa app identified it and I simply told Alexa to rename it to "night light" from the light's default name upon discovery which is "first light". First, the light provides a larger lighted surface than the light it replaced. To get the same amount of light as the light it replaced I'd set it to a brightness level of about 25%. But what put a grin on my face was, after settling into bed the first night and discovering it was brighter than I wanted at 100% brightness, I merely told Alexa to change "night light brightness to 50%" and ultimately to 25% without getting out of bed. I also verbally changed the light's color numerous times to find the one I liked best. In fact it's so easy to change that I find I often change the light's settings after getting into bed based on my mood or other variables. I wanted the light to turn on and off using it's "auto" sensor mode, which is the default setting upon plugging it in. Changing it's color or brightness level can be done by voice or via the app without affecting the "auto" mode. However if you "specifically" turn the light "on" or "off" it will cease operating in "auto" sensor mode "for a period of 12 hours". After 12 hours it will "automatically resume" using the "auto" sensor mode. If you want it to resume "auto" sensor mode "before 12 hours has passed" you merely need to unplug the light and plug it back in, reinitiating it's default installation mode of "auto" sensor. I see this as a non-issue and a very reasonable scheme however I've seen a few reviews from those who find this to be a major issue. I really like this light's size and capabilities and, if it proves to be as durable as I expect, I think it will be money well spent. I highly recommend it to anyone who would enjoy such capabilities.

Great little nightlight!
Purchased this with my Echo Flex to replace a nightlight I had in the tiny master bathroom and also give me Alexa access without eating up both outlets, giving me wires to contend with, or taking up counter space. If you've already got an Alexa account and have previously saved your wifi info to the app, this will literally set itself up. You just plug it into the Flex and it does everything for you. You can choose from 16 different color options for the light and these can be set by voice command or in the Alexa app. A few of the colors aren't that vibrant, like the Lavender option, but for the most part you have many distinct, noticeably different color options. Brightness can also be set by voice or through the Alexa app. Interestingly, the status lights that you would see on a light ring of a regular Echo also seem to display on this nightlight when it's connected to the Flex. I find that useful because the status display on the Flex itself is pretty tiny. If you find the light sensor to read the room as too bright or too dark, consider flipping the Flex upside down in the outlet as this will put the sensor on the other side. Can help if the sensor was facing a wall, mirror or a window and you want it to face the other way. The Flex will still work upside down in the US as the plug tines are both the same size and there's no ground tine. I set a Routine in the Alexa app for turning the nightlight on and off in relation to sunrise/sunset each day, and you could incorporate the light into any Routine you want. It's a great addition to the Flex!

Two devices, One plug
I've wanted to add an Echo device to the guest bathroom for some time, but there's only two sockets. And one of those has a night light. So when the Flex became available with an add-on night light I had to give it a try. This really is the primary use-case for these two devices, but they work wonderfully. The addition of light-sensing and the ability to change the colors and intensity of the light make it that much more useful. My only complaint is that there isn't a way to turn off the light sensing feature in the Alexa app. You have to plug and unplug the device four times to change the status! Wouldn't that have been a no-brainer to add to the app? Other than that, this does what I want and saves a socket. Mission accomplished.

Perfect addition to our Flex
We have a spare bathroom off a hallway that my wife and I use in the middle of the night so as to not disturb each other by using our master bath. For years we would carefully wander to the bath in the dark and fumble around with a dimmer switch for better aim. About a year ago we added a Philips hue motion detector in the hallway and dimmable Hue bulbs in two sconces in the hallway. Along with Alex control of the light brightness during the day or night, it's been a welcome improvement and everything works perfectly together. However, that left the bathroom in the dark. We had added an Alexa Flex to the bathroom about 8 months ago but primarily to complete seamless whole house hearing for Alexa so we wouldn't have to raise our voice to talk "to the house". When these nightlights went on sale about 6 months ago, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to get one try it out with the bathroom Flex. It works perfectly and is perfectly controlled by Alexa when triggered by the Phillips motion detector. With a dim setting in the night and no light during the day it is the perfect lighting for night time trips down the hallway and into the bathroom, and let's us take care of business without eve having to wake up enough to deal with dimmer switches for lighting. Two minutes later, everything automatically turns off. Very nice.

Perfect Companion For The Echo Flex
I got several of these to use in conjunction with the majority of my Echo Flex units. I find them to be quite a bit more versatile than you’d expect. Of course they function perfectly as RGB night lights. Perfect integration with the Alexa mobile app as well as all of my Echo and Fire TV devices. That’s a given. They work splendidly at that. However, I find their true utility in just how well they mesh with routines. My favorite use for them though? Notifications of all types. Front Door Sensor opened? All night lights come on in red until the door closes again. Someone trying to reach me on one of my Echo Show devices? Blue lights until I answer. Doorbell Camera detects a package? Yellow lights. You get it. You can set them up to give you color coded notifications limited only by your connected devices and your imagination. I love that no matter where I am in my home, and whether I am wearing headphones or not, I am instantly notified of any number of things. Dope. So yeah, I’d say I’m pretty pleased with my purchase. I love my Flex & Light combo. Powerful partners.

Great, but so much unmet potential
Love this add on nightlight for the Echo Flex. Set up was seamless, opened the box, plugged it in, and it was recognized in my Amazon Alexa app immediately. Menu options for color choices don’t always seem to line up to color produced, for example, “white” is warm white appearing almost pale yellow, while “salmon” and “pink” appear like bright white, with “pink” appearing slightly brighter, but neither appearing close to the color represented in the menu. Even so, there are plenty of color options (16). The only improvement I can think of is the option for a set schedule (to set to come on only at night for example), and/or a motion detector (auto on when motion is detected). I have plug in flashlight/nightlights all over my house, which come on automatically when the lights are off in the house, and when the power goes out. Features like these would be appreciated in this nightlight. Additionally, as I do have many plug in nightlight/flashlights throughout the house, I would be great if a stand-alone flashlight was available, that was dependent on being plugged into the Echo Flex. I don’t need an Echo Flex anywhere else in my house, but it would be great to have continuity of my plug in nightlights throughout the house. The combination of the Echo Flex body and this nightlight make for a modern, sleek silhouette; if a standalone, plug-in flash light in a similar shape to the Echo Flex body, with a nightlight on the bottom like this THIRDREALITY attachment, is definitely a product I would be interested in. Even better if the nightlights could all be linked/synced to the same color/settings. Overall a great product, room for improvement, and future expansion of the product line and features.

Fantastic Light Add On for the Flex
Bought the night light add on to pair with my Echo Flex. I love this and it’s a perfect companion for the Echo Flex. In my Alexa app, I can set it to 16 different colors and can dim it in the app also. It has a disk to dawn feature that’s really sensitive so I don’t have to worry about the light being on all day. The brightest setting is not super bright to me, and if it was, I’d just lower the dimmer down more. Fits perfectly with the echo as far as width and depth go and it’s the same color. From a distance, it looks like it’s just one piece, that being the Echo and Light together. And it wasn’t an expensive add on either. It’s simple to connect to the Flex, just plug it into the existing USB port of the Flex and it’s a tight fit so you don’t have to worry about it falling out. Controlling the color and dimmer are simple as it’s all done through the Alexa app. All in all, the Flex light is a great value at a great price.

Must Have Accessory for Echo Flex ... Well Made, Easy Install - Works Great!
This is a must have for Echo Flex users. It's well made and super easy to install and use. Just plug in the Night Light to the USB port on the bottom of the Echo Flex and the Echo Flex recognizes it and auto enrols it into Alexa. You can change the color of the light and control the brightness with voice commands. The light turns on automatically when it's dark without any extra programming and off when there's light. The night light can also be triggered to run scenes, rules and schedules. After trying it out, I've bought two more. This is a must have accessory for the Echo Flex. Note: Thirdreality (the manufacturer) also makes a USB motion sensor plug in for the echo flex. You can't use both the night light and motion sensor together which is disappointing since you could have a motion activated light which would be cool. After using the Echo flex I wonder why Amazon didn't build a night light or motion sensor into the Flex right from the start. Perhaps they will on a Gen 2 Echo Flex. For now this Thirdreality is the only solution and it works great!

Posso dirmi pienamente soddisfatto dell'acquisto. Lo consiglio.

Macht was es soll.
