The Little Pillow That Could...
Years ago, I had one of these small pillows and was genuinely bummed out when I discovered it had been forgotten at a Hilton in Bakersfield, CA! For some reason, this pillow never left my mind, as I always thought of replacing it with a new one.Fast-forward almost a dozen years later and I followed through and got a new one, hoping to discover *what* was so unique about this one little pillow that stuck in my mind all these years... OH MAN!! What have I been missing? This pillow is unique in that it's efficient. No big face-eating marshmallows here! Just a small little cushion on which to rest your head. I like to place it on my left arm (I sleep on my left side) and it supports my head and neck just fine. Being that I'm a musician and often sleep in weird places (like airport floors, cars/vans, planes, etc) this gem of comfort fits in my go bag and is comfortable in any situation.I am going to order three more soon, if not just to have an extra stashed in places like my drum cases, or give to friends who could benefit from such a handy device.Everyone should have one of these, even if just a conversation piece ("What a tiny little pillow!").

Little Pillow, Big Help
I’ve wasted a lot of time and money/time on dumb stuff from the internet in an attempt to alleviate spine pain, so I was reluctant to buy one more thing. What a pleasant surprise! This little pillow is amazing! My cervical spine could not be happier! And right now, as I write this review, I have the pillow placed along my thoracic spine, doing a nice long stretch. It’s just perfect. I’m buying another one to keep at my partner’s house because I can’t imagine living without it. Who would have thought this small, buckwheat rectangle could be so helpful!

Love it!
I really love buckwheat hull pillows. I have another that I've had for going on 20 years (!!) and my cat has appropriated it to sleep on so I decided to seek out another. This one is lighter in weight than my old one but serves just as well. it's winter now, of course, but I think its coolness will feel really good in the hot months for sleeping....these are the best pillows out there, in my opinion. This one has a nice cover. My old one has a zippered velvet cover that is very soft but this new one is a bit sturdier. I made a pillow case for each and "load" them into the cases zippered side inside. I did notice with this new one that a few hulls leaked from it so I took a safety pin to secure the zipper so it doesn't move, then loaded it zippered side in first and it's been perfect ever since.

Updating review; the pillow is great if you add more hulls
Updating my review from one star: I added several handfuls of buckwheat hulls to the pillow, and that did the trick. I have now used it on several vacations, and while it is indeed tiny, it is comfortable and I sleep well with it. Without extra hulls, however, it is much too flat for comfortable sleep.I bought this pillow for travel, as I love my full size buckwheat hull pillow. I did realize this pillow is tiny -- sized for a toddler, really -- but I did not expect it to be so flat. Hardly any hulls inside. I took it on my trip and woke up with a terrible neck ache because pillow simply is not full enough to support my head. I ended up using hotel pillows the rest of the trip, totally defeating the point of this purchase. And worst of all, I cannot return it because I removed the tags and used it for a terrible night of sleep. Very disappointing. Oh, and you don't even get a case for this flat little pillow. Save your money.

It is stiffer than I expected. I need more time.
It's going to take getting used to. I can't answer your questions. I bought this pillow because I am having mobility issues and needed to change to a pillow that allowed for my change of sleeping patterns. I have developed a frozen shoulder and I am training my body to sleep only on my back. I am a side sleeper and so it was recommended to change pillows. Since I have tried this pillow. All I can say is that I don't have enough time with it. I can't answer the questions. Except that maybe later. The pillow came delivered fine, and within the time period. It looks and feels good.

Good quality & price
This soba pillow is so nice! I grew up sleeping with one and I feel like other pillows just don't offer enough support for me. I previously bought one from a different and more expensive brand on Amazon but this one is higher quality. The liner is more substantial and I'm happy it has a zipper to make cleaning it easier.Just make sure you are ok with this size, it's perfect for me but it is smaller than a standard pillow.

Underfilled but otherwise good pillow
I purchased the medium and the small pillows. They arrived quickly and in good condition. I immediately noticed while unboxing that the pillows were heavily underfilled compared to what I was imagining.I inspected both pillows. They were packed nicely. The canvas is really nice quality. The zipper works well and it's flushed nicely. My pillows each came about 50% or 60% full. This is too low in my opinion. Half full is not cool with me. You could have simply given me another pound of buckwheat hulls and I'd have been happy. These pillows are running with a premium price. To use the medium pillow comfortably I had to empty almost the entire small pillow into the medium. Now it is comfortable - great to sleep on in fact. I do love it.The whole ordeal made me look at the pillow more critically. The construction is nice but since I'm now looking for flaws, they could have used a double stitch. The strong canvas will definitely out last the single stitch. The pillows are constructed nicely and I'm going to be using them for a while but due to the fact that I had to buy my own buckwheat hulls I am not going to buy from this company again. It's annoying to not be able to use both pillows at the same time on the day that they arrived. The total ship weight for both the medium and small pillows combined was under 5 lbs. There is a formula to determine fill rate for buckwheat pillows and this is just too low!Attached are two pictures:http://imgur.com/0mbUcVt - Both pillows openhttp://imgur.com/LANF2Jb - too low to support my neck, sleeping on the floor.
