Compatible Water Filter. LG LT700P

Initially thought this was a good buy based on price but... After installing and running around 10 gals through it all seemed good. Then next morning noticed it was leaking. Removed the filter, checked the fridge end and then the filter. Figured let's reseat it and give it another go. Nope, leaked again. Took the filter out again and looked at the rubber o-ring seals and noticed the bigger one was under sized and loose. Put the bypass plug in and no leaks. I have since purchased another filter elsewhere and no leaks. Maybe this works in other fridges but mine, an LG, was a no go. Just be aware of this if you decide to buy this filter.

I had sticker shock when I went into a big box home improvement to purchase a water filter for my new refrigerator. I couldn't believe the cost! I decided to check out my options here on Amazon and, boy, am I sure glad I did! I bought this filter at a FRACTION of the cost I'd seen earlier and it functions perfectly... just like the OEM equipment that came in my fridge when I bought it new. All things considered, I will never use anything other than this for my water filtration needs. I am so glad I gave this product a try! :)

Great lower cost option for replacement water filters. I have a Kenmore Elite refrigerator. The cheapest "official" filters I could find were around $32! I decided to see if I could find them on Amazon, and I ran across these. They work perfectly in my refrigerator and at a fraction of the cost. Would definitely recommend these to anyone who needs this size filter.

This is a fraction of the price of the official filter and works just as well. This is the second time I have ordered this part and it installs easily and works great. The water seems just as filtered as when we were buying the official unit.

I expected more from the filter. The water seems to come out slower than with genuine oem filters. It also asks you to pump 4 gallons of water through it. Because it's slow, that process seems to take quite some time. Maybe 15 minutes?

I would have given a 4+ but I opened in box to change filters I was shocked to learn, even though the packing said "Refrigeration Replacement Filter", it was instead filled with a "Bypass Cartridge - Save For Future use" the size of the filter. So much for quality assurance.

This product leaked water. I checked twice to ensure it was installed correctly, even reseating it to double check. It continued to leak lots of water. I returned it.

Great product at a great price. I have purchased the name brand ones for my fridges before and had serious problems with bad tasting water. I ran the minimum suggested through after filling and perfect water. Will def buy again!
