How awful!!
This book is totally useless!! It reads like a twelve year old wrote it -- one with very poor grammer and spelling skills. The information given is general to any dog. There is NO specific information about German Shorthaired Pointers. I feel totally cheated. We have just rescued a three year old German Shorthaired Pointer, and need good information about this breed. We have lived with Pit bulls before this and knew our new dog has different needs. Not only is most of the information in this book useless, some of it is dangerous to the dog. This book is published by the writer, not a regular publishing house, which explains how the pathetic, childlike, terribly written information included was put into print in the first place. If you want REAL information about your German Shorthaired Pointer, DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
This book is one of the most poorly written pieces of garbage that I've had the displeasure of picking up. My 12 year old son could write a book better than this one. Every paragraph is in quotes and the grammar is horrendous. I feel ripped off. We have a new GSP puppy on the way and I plan to keep this book so she can tear it apart!

Poorly written!
Very poorly written!! Grammar and puncuation errors throughout the whole book. Very hard to read. It feels like a 4th grader (who has never met a GSP) wrote it. Wish i would not have paid for it

Don't waste your money
This book is not worth the paper it was printed on. It is oversimplified and written in a third grade manner. Don't waste your money, too.

Poor style
Although this book contained some useful advice on how to train and look after your GSP puppy, the grammar and spelling were so poor that communication was at times impaired. Somne examples: 'If the dog has gone thru some changes.....' 'If you want your boy to be well behaved and well mannered, obedience training is very important. Good for you, the GSP responds well to commands.' In addition each paragraph is set in inverted commas which is confusing.

Very useful
I would recommend this book to those with a German Pointer. I've found it very useful with a lovely but young and playful pup.
