Great CD

I like that that are more songs I never heard from them before.

Steelheart was a mid 80's to early 90's Power/Hair rock band. Their strengths were a lead singer that could knock out their lyrics and a drummer that provided the pulse or back-beat of their music. While the lead guitar produced the higher guitar riffs the rhythm guitar gave us a rhythmic pulse that backed up the drummer. From what I remember, the goal of these types of bands was to be load in music, loud in voice, and provide the music that made you want to get up and air-guitar and air-drum. Some of their songs are in the form of a rock ballad that may have been soft in story but hard in music and back-beat. I don't remember any of the songs on this album being on the Rock or Top-40s charts but they were not one hit wonders with the quality and variety of their music. During the mid 80's into the early 90's there were many good hard rock bands, hair bands, and power-rock bands to choose from so their music may have been over looked by the music world.

I purchased this cd as a replacement for my husband's collection. The case had a crack in it, but the cd itself was fine!!! We believe the case may have suffered the crack during shipping, so we're still giving 5 srars

Absolutely loved this band then and still do! I actually got this cd sooner than expected thanks to Speedy Hen!

For an 80's music guy like myself, this one's another winner. Arrived sooner than expected, which is a nice bonus.
