One Thousand and One Nights, Vol. 9 (One Thousand and One Nights (9))

One of my absolute favorite manhwa. It always leaves me wanting more. I've read the original and I think this is a fun and delicious way for the boys-love genre enthusiast. I highly recommend it.

Jafar tries to find out about Fatima only to come up against a dead end—literally, when he discovers her dead body in Shazaman’s palace in Samarkand. So who was the disappearing figure Sehara saw in the palace? Who is taunting Shahryar in the desert? Why does Fatima continue to exert her power over both brothers?The elements of the eldritch recall to mind the original Arabian Nights tales. Such hints of magic have been teasing the reader subtly, gradually, until we have to wonder if this country truly is touched by the mystical or whether madness is taking its toll over what is left of the royal family.However, this installment gets bogged down by a long-winded and convoluted tale of three Chinese “knights”, a story that Sehara partially translates for MacLeod. The parade of different names and the changing loyalties of the characters made it very difficult for me to follow the storyline. If it is meant to show brotherhood between three disparate nations, then it could have conveyed its message with a shorter tale, perhaps the one about the three brothers who use different magical objects to save a dying princess.

I really enjoy this title so very much, for the story, 5 Stars any day. The shipping on this product was very fast and I was very happy about that! The reason I rated it a 4 instead of 5 was because although I love the story and the shipping on the product was great, I realized after that the book I bought was actually supposed to be new, but there were a few noticeable creases and scuff marks that should not be there for a new book, making the book certainly look used. Although it isn't an overall bad copy, I have contacted the seller to see what I can do.

Very good book with intriguing and emotional love stories.The art is also one of the most beautiful I've seen.

Dado que los tres últimos tomos de la colección (volúmenes 9, 10 y 11) no han sido publicados en español, decidí comprarlos en inglés. Estoy contenta con el producto, el libro me llegó en buenas condiciones, es exactamente lo que esperaba.

El libro llegó con algunos desperfectos sin importancia en los bordes del lomo, a pesar de eso las tapas y las hojas están en perfectas condiciones.
