First one arrived with one of the holes covered with cloth. Replacement arrived and was in a different configuration than what was ordered and pictured. The second one had an exposed staple holding the ball to the platform, which could easily have injured the cat. The tree probably is not strong enough for an over weight cat.

This arrived with the bottom corner near the lower pole smooshed. I didn't think it should affect the workings of the product since it wasn't structurally important, but shortly after I set it up, my cat wandered by and snagged the toy hanging off the lower pole, and the pole fell right over - the screw securing it to the bottom board had pulled right through the particle board, which kind of just dissolved into bits around it. The compromised corner and the area around the pulled-through screw seem to have connected up. I am not sure I would trust the top one to hold my cat knowing how easily these boards can be compromised.

Well tried the cheaper way for a tree thinking I was getting a bargain. Had it for just a week already top board is flaking all apart and carpet had more holes in it then required for assembling. Have attempted to glue carpet in place but the boards are pressed wood and falling apart. My kittens are covered with carpeting and pieces of roping by just getting near the thing, so its been removed from their area to a corner. Suggest to other buyers spend a little more for better quality, I could kick myself in the butt.

My first one came broken and the seller happily sent me another one. Definitely a good seller to work with.As for the cat house... I have two cats that are both about 10 months old. One is a big boy at around 15.5 lbs. and my girl is smaller at 10 lbs. they both fit in the little box at the bottom (the boy is definitely squished but that's the first place he went when I took it out of the box. Both like jumping on top but sometimes the whole house tilts a tiny bit because it's not extremely sturdy.They both love clawing the scratching post which I'm thankful for because it is saving my furniture.Both of the hanging toys broke off within 15-20 minutes (bummer).This is a good buy for the cheap price.

First of all, I gave this product a 4 out of 5 star for the product being a little wobbling once it's together. I'm sure I can remedy this by adding thread tape to make a tighter connection. Second, my 10 year old cat just loves the top shelf. She's constantly sitting or sleep on it in front of the window. Great product.

My cat loved it, he was addicted to it. He is a 7 year old cat and is very active. I bought this for him because the cat tree looks likes it suites him. The only problem was that it left flakes all over my carpets and floors. But...he enjoyed the tree and I am glad he did. I did post a video about him trying it. I recommend buying it, since it is a low priced but is high quality stuff.

If you have a larger cat like mine, then this thing will eventually break and become useless. Particle board breaks where the platforms connect and there really isn't a good way to repair. The fuzzy thing hanging over the edge of the upper platform was literally detached and destroyed the first day.

Bought this for my 12 week old kitten and have had it for less then a week and both poles have snapped off! Poor quality, cheaply made and the material will not hold up over time.Buyer beware! Cheap DO NOT BUY!I am waiting to try to see if they will refund me or exchange this item, but it does not look promising.
