ION MESH HAIR DRYER DIFFUSER SOCK For Curly & Wavy Hair, Fits MOST Standard Size Blow Dryers (Gold)

I have bought several travel diffusers and none of them were as "universal" as they claimed--until this one! Even the silicone ones (that cost far, far more than this) didn't fit on every hotel dryer...one didn't even fit on all the hairdryers in my house. There is a cinch, bungy cord that tightens the unit to every dryer I could find. This takes up almost zero luggage space and finally, I won't have to air dry when I travel (this is huge- sometimes I had to put my head over the ac/heat unit to get the job done.) I'm no Polyanna, I do see a couple of negatives: the end doesn't let a lot of air through, so even with the dryer fan on the highest setting, it takes longer to dry my hair than with the diffuser I use at home and I have shoulder length, thinner than thick hair. I don't think it would work for me as my home diffuser and I'm prepared for it to take a little longer when I travel. Also, on some dryers the fabric on the diffuser that goes over the dryer did get very hot on high heat with two of the 6 hair dryers in my house (I put this baby through the tests!) Even with that, and especially at this price, this is the last travel diffuser I'm buying because it works exactly how I want a travel diffuser to work.

it fits well on different hotel hair dryers, but there’s almost no airflow through the fabric. so i cut holes in it and now it works great.

I normally don't write reviews, but—OMG, this is a GAME-CHANGER! I've been searching forever for a travel dryer with diffuser that didn't take up half of my carry-on bag. I decided to give this sock a try, and let me tell you, it's fantastic! It packs down to nothing, but does the trick for my fine, blonde curls. Because my hair is so fine and a bit thin, I go frizzy really easily. I was worried that not having the fingers that a hard diffuser has would be an issue, but my curls bounced just as well with this device. I've only tried it at home so far, but the way this is made with an adjustable drawstring, I have no doubts that it'll fit any hotel or cruise cabin hairdryer. Trust me everyone, if you've been looking for a way to dry your hair on vacation without taking your own bulky hairdryer, this is it!

Giving this product 3 stars because you need to hold it to your hair the whole time while drying or it will slip off the dryer. It does what it's supposed to do as far as diffusing and drying curly hair and easy to pack.

This is a great travel diffuser. It folds flat in your suitcase, and stayed on the hotel blow dryer without any problem when using it. I have thick medium length curls, and this takes a little longer to use, but I am very pleased with my purchase!

I looked through so many diffusers on Amazon and decided on this one for a few different reasons. Of all the adjustable size diffusers, this one seemed the most likely to fit a variety of hair dryers because it's basically a drawstring stretch design. Unlike the plastic or silicone diffusers that require a more precise fit, this sock type is a virtually foolproof fit. I also love that it's super lightweight and not at all bulky, compared to the other styles. This diffuser does not have teeth/prongs to add volume. I would says it's better for anyone that scrunches their hair as they dry it. Some reviews said it did not stay on their hairdryer. This wasn't a problem for me. The instructions show how the diffuser is supposed to be attached, looping the elastic cord around the back of the dryer after securing the sock to the nozzle of the dryer. Even if your dryer doesn't have a bumpout at the back to loop the cord over, I think you could loop it around the handle to keep the diffuser from flying off.

I am so pleasantly surprised as I’ve purchased multiple travel curly hair diffusers with no satisfaction until now!! My diffuser sock came in a very timely fashion and works amazingly well. Very happy curly girl!!
