So easy to use!

I bought this to reset the TPMS warning light on my 2016 Vauxhall Mokka. The battery on one of the sensors must have died, so the yellow warning light and message "Service the TPMS system came on and there was no pressure reading in one of the tyres. It happened at 11.30pm on a motorway so it was a bit scary to think that I suddenly had a totally flat tyre. (Actually, it hadn't gone down at all). Anyway...Because the batteries inside the sensors cannot be changed, I had to replace the "sensor" which cost me £13.50 on Ebay, but then I also had to buy this "re-learn" tool to complete the task of getting the dash board light to reset and the tyre pressure to be shown again. So here's what to do..... After you have bought and had your local tyre garage fit the new sensor (make sure you buy the right one for your car), turn on the ignition, wait for the warning to display, press the button on the end of the control column and you will be asked if you want to re-learn the tyre pressures. Toggle to "yes" and press the button once more to activate the re-learn mode. The car horn will beep once. While in this mode, go to each tyre and press and release the button on this hand held re-learn tool. Wait a moment and the car horn will beep again and you can move on to the next tyre. When all 4 tyres are re-learned, that's it! Job done! All together, the sensor (£13.50 on Ebay) The fitting of the sensor to the inside of the tyre (£20), and this re-set tool (£6.50) Total = £40.00. Vauxhall main dealer quoted between £160-£250 depending on what model I had. So...definitely buy one! (make sure you get the right one though) This "GM" one worked perfectly on my 2016 Mokka.

Really Pleased

Bought this product to get rid of an annoying tyre sensor warning light on a Corsa e 2015, which I found out was due a sensor being totally absent on one of the tyres. After ordering a new sensor and getting that fitted at the garage. I needed this device for the car to relearn the sensors. It worked brilliantly, did the job in a couple of minutes, piece of cake. My only gripe is that the battery cover was a bit awkward to get on and off but a minor inconvenience for how well it worked and how much money I've saved avoiding main dealer prices.

Works with the French!

Well i bought this, taking a punt it may or may not work as it was advertised for for use for GM vehicles, Anyway to cut a long story short this works with Peugeot and possibly Citroen also. But it is harder as an additional step is required. You need to be able to use Diagbox and tell the vehicle to go into learn mode rather than the way GM do it. But other than that it works.

Works Perfectly

Does exactly as it's designed to. Used to reset all the tyre pressure sensors on my Vauxhall Mokka first attempt with no issues. Took less than five minutes.

Tyre pressure sensor device

Tool is for American cars doesn’t work on toyotas and it doesn’t come with instructions it’s an odd piece of kit because it’s just the device that comes in the box it’s the only thing I’ve ever had that doesn’t have instructions
