Indian Essentials Chicken Curry Seasoning Mix, 1.06 oz (Pack of 12)

Made this for dinner the day it arrived. Easy to follow instructions that you can tweak any way you please. Restaurant quality curry! I found this once in a grocery store only to not find it again. It was such a hit that I had to order some from Amazon. I received a carton with 13 packets of seasoning. Will buy again when we get through our pantry stock. I highly recommend this product.

I love the taste of this curry. It is extremely easy to make and has just the right amount of heat for me. I use sour cream instead of heavy cream and it turns out perfect every time.

Super easy recipe for this Social Distancing time in our lives. Plus clean up is a breeze,>I ordered the Indian Essentials Chicken Curry.< -Ordered on Sunday, and it arrived by Wednesday.RECIPE:(serves 4-6)*1 pkg of seasoning per 2 thighs- Next time I think I’ll use 2 pkgs of seasoning per 3 thighs.- Or 1 pkg of seasoning per 1 breast*6 boneless skinless chicken thighs. -You can also use chicken breast. You just want whatever you use to be boneless and skinless.- Use 1 to 2 thighs(or one breast) per person.*2 cans of coconut milk(all I had).- I would have used 1 can per 2 thighs(or 1 can per 1 breast).*1 lg whole yellow onion chopped*1/2 green bell pepper chopped(1/2 of it was bad🤷🏼‍♀️)*2 large butter potatoes(thick cubes).-I should have used at least 1 more potato.* 2 16 ounce cans diced tomatoes* 1 16 ounce can(all I had) tomato sauce.-You should probably use one 16 ounce can per 2 thighs*1 to 2 cups heavy cream—Add to taste—*Salt(add a little more than you think you need)*pepper*garlic powder-I would have used actual garlic if I had it.*red pepper flakes- I used about 4 tbl spoons(YUM spice). DIRECTIONS:^Add all ingredients to crockpot EXCEPT coconut milk.^Put crockpot on LOW for 8 hrs.^ At hr 4 take two forks and shred the chicken.^ At hr 7(one hr b4 it’s done cooking)add the coconut milk.^Add more salt if desired.*Served on top of rice, & with garlic naan bread I ordered from Taj Mahal(local Indian restaurant).••It made quite a lot of curry. There is definitely enough for a few days of leftovers.••*I had leftovers for lunch today, and it was even better than yesterday after sitting in the spices all night.This recipe is a 10/10 drool🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

I have been experimenting with curry recipes since we were introduced to it a couple years ago but everything we made was...... blah. This mix was top notch good! Made per the recipe on the back and it was the closest to authentic Indian that weve tried. Just a hint of hot so perfect for almost every palette! Try it! You will like it!

Tastes great. Mix as instructed with some sour cream and Chicken, etc, and it's a delicious, quick meal.

I am so sad that this item is currently out of stock. Anyway, the instructions are weird so I just do not follow them. I mix two packs of seasoning with two cans of coconut milk. I add the mix to a pot of diced cooked chicken ( two chicken breast halfs), potatoes, red bell pepper, drained diced tomatoes and carrots. Serve with Jasmine rice. My family devours it and there are never any left overs.This is simply the best. They no longer sell it at my local grocery store so I bought a bottled type of some other brand. It was gross. Nobody liked it and it's sitting there stinking up my house.

I love the chicken curry mix!! I have purchased the other varieties and I don't like them that much. I think that's why there are some negative reviews for this product. If you purchase only the chicken curry mix, you will not be disappointed. Spicy and delicious. Much cheaper than going to an indian restaurant. Try to avoid the other flavors.

This was one packet for the normal price of a case of 12!!!! Previously purchased this and the taste/quality is fine but bait and switch when you expect a dozen
