The Gingerbread Man (Waterford Early Reading Program, Traditional Tale 1) Paperback – 2000

I selected this particular one for the illustrations, and have not been disappointed. Great color, and even though the Gingerbread Man meets a bad ending, it's more cute than anything! I would definitely recommend this particular version of the book because of its illustrations.

We have at least six versions of The Gingerbread Man book by various authors. This is an out of print book and I was thrilled to be able to get some more copies on Amazon to give to my daughter's friends for presents. My daughter (who is 4) loves the story and this version is by far her favorite. The illustrations are great.

This book is part of a collection of children's stories that went with a CD. I teach first grade and the book became damaged. The only place the book was available was on Amazon. I was really glad that I could complete the set. Amazon is a great resource to find replacements to book sets.

It was in excellent condition and delivered right away. My children at work enjoyed the story.

My first grade students read this book in class and loved it. In this version the Gingerbread Man runs away from the old lady, the old man, a cow, and a horse before he meets the fox. You will like this book because the ending is funny. You should never, ever trust a fox if you are a gingerbread man.(Whole Class Review)
