I bought this XML-T6 flashlight in July 2016 for use as a bicycle front light. I've been using it nearly daily for over 2 years now. I ride all year long in the midwest, so the XML-T6 has been exposed to all kinds of weather. I know these flashlights aren't really designed to be used daily for sometimes hours at a time, exposed to shock,moisture, cold, etc...but this little flashlight has outlasted all other brands that I have purchased previously. Normally, I expect a flashlight to last 10-15 months under the conditions I ride. So far it's been 27 months and it still works perfectly.Over time debris gets caught in the threads affecting the circuit, affecting the reliability of the circuit, but just cleaning the threads with a little rubbing alcohol and a old toothbrush is enough to fix it. Unlike other brands, the Refun push button hasn't started to jam or become defective. The springs are also solidly soldered to the board.I love this litle flashlight. I am going to buy a second one and paint the lens red with a sharpie so I can use it as a rear bike light. Great value for the money. I couldn't be more happy with the product. Edit: The mass is 86 g (no battery) and 130 g with a Samsung 2600 mAH 18650 battery. It's only 4.5 in. long.

i live in florida , and with out a moon out its pitch black outside . well i ordered two led sk98 2000 lumens flashlights and then i had to order two batteries , and a charger ....as i had no idea they did not take normal batteries....well i tried them out ..i could not believe how super powerful these are , this is the best flashlight ever made ...small but so bright it , is hard to believe how much light it puts out ...i would suggest everyone get a couple of these ...it you walk a dog at night , or have a blackout as we did just a few days ago ..this turns night into day ...i am so happy with these .... this is just what i needed ....so i will be ordering them again so i have one in every room and ...guess what everyone will be getting for Christmas .....the price was so very reasonable ... Get rid of those old flashlights and get these ...you will not be disappointed , i promise you ...and with100,000 hours of use ...this is the last flashlight you will ever need .....

Can't say anything about the light itself yet, and that's because - and I blame myself - I don't have a battery! well cheap as I am I ordered the light without the rechargeable, assuming I could just use regular AAs - well the refun battery in the picture looks like one right? nope - it's a total odd size and you will need THAT battery they offer with the light. So, as soon as I have it (I ordered another one, this time the package with two batteries and charger) I can tell you how bright it is and may up the review to 5 stars, right now I'm a little bummed that it doesn't specifically tell you about the batteries in the description, but hey, I guess smarter people could figure that out on their own (1.5V vs 3.7V - duh!) :-)cheers!

I received my flashlight, but it had no battery anywhere in the package or in the box. Not sure what happened, but I am returning this. Too bad I couldn't test it it out...***Update as of January 4th, 2016***So the company contacted me and sent me a battery charger and 2 batteries. Their concern with my satisfaction was very impressive! And I can say that the flashlight is very bright and works very well. The only thing I have to say is that the clip is very flimsy and cannot be bent back to the original position. If that got fixed in the design, it'd be perfect. But all in all, a great flashlight for the money, definitely!

This review gets two stars. Why only two? Because this seller sold me a Lattice Bright knockoff rather than a genuine Cree XML-T6 LED. (See attatched photo.)The only redeeming factor to earn a second star, is the pill inside the flashlight is a bit better than most SK98 lights out there. The floor the LED sits in isn't completely solid, but it has more surface area than other floorless pill SK98s. I modded my light with a Qlite 7135*8 3.04a driver, and a REAL Cree XM-L2 U4 1C LED. What a differance!

Not as bright as advertised but much brighter than conventional flashlights by far. Very impressive and great value. Make sure you do your homework before you buy batteries for this

The flashlight is bright and durable. My only complaint is the zoomable end of the flashlight, as it is a tad loose and had a noticeable rattle.

What an excellent little light with a big attitude! It's a tough light! I have dropped a few times, once from eight feet to concrete, I thought for sure it was the end of my light!It still work's great! The zoom beam is really cool! I would recommend this light to anyone!
