I had to do a repair on the end of my bullet hose. It worked great and looks good. I bought the 2 inch diameter and it shrank down to 3/4 inch perfectly. Would buy again. Make sure you have a heat gun, a hair dryer won’t work.

I was just looking for a quick roll of red & black shrink tubing to finish off some power cables for my solar installations and snagged these without really looking. I was VERY pleasantly surprised when I put them to use and saw the clear substance like hot-glue-gun glue form a very thin ring at the ends of the connection's tubing. I looked at the inside of an unused section and realized that was effectively what it was! These seal really, really well, forming what I would expect to be a water-tight and very reliable finishing-touch to your custom cable making. Very happy I discovered this stuff, I didn't even know before this that such a hybrid shrink tubing existed. I will definitely be buying more of this stuff! I'd give it 6 stars if I could :)

Worked very well. The 2 inch tubing shrunk nicely around the 1.5 inch climbing ropes that my kids train on.Just finished taping, cutting, and wipping the 50 foot rope into two 25 foot lengths for our 17 foot rope spots that are next to the pullup bar.The 2 inch heat shrink finished off the rope ends very nicely, and with ease.Very pleased with this product.Not my first time doing this to climbing ropes.Just have to remember to hang up the ends so they're out of reach of the dogs.

It shrunk like it was supposed to. I used it for a buried cable connection. Used a heat gun and it worked great.

I used this to color coordinate a bracket for towing interfaces I fabricated for the front of our truck which is has a black grill and bumper. The bracket was made from 1" aluminum (1/4" thick). Two sections were curved to loop up from the mounting on the bumper to support the cross member where the breakaway switch, electric and air fittings were mounted.The shrink tubing conformed to the curved sections well as long as the heat was applied on the inside edge of the curve first.Adhesive was a bonus for my application as I just used a sealant to close the ends, but it did ooze out the end enough to prove it was there.

I needed this to extend my boat’s outboard battery cables to the battery. This shrink tubing was a little too big for the cables, but the right size for the ends, the bolt and nut that link them together. With enough heat, they eventually shrunk well enough to provide a snug fit, but just enough.

I generally use this product for projects like lit up house numbers for binding together and waterproofing a bundle of wired connections. After the last hurricane, Beryl, I used this product to repair damage to my 4/0 wires service wires from my destroyed weatherheads. Cleaned the damaged insulation and wire then used Liquid Electrical Tape to coat the wire and replace the insulation, then used two layers of the shrinkwrap to fully insulate each wire. I doubled the shrinkwrap to be sure I exceeded 600v dielectric.
