Great fit for tire carrier mounted option.
I really liked this setup over the ones that mount on the hinge bolts. This fits just right in the tailgate, perfect height for a 3ft antenna. You do have to use a low profile wire with this original version. I choose one with a tip not soldiered on to allow easy wiring inside the Jeep. The install feels sturdy and the antenna is placed where there is no contact with the brake or window. Ground is good when checking with the meter. Definitely recommend for a tire carrier mounted antenna! (I have -12 offset 17x9 rims, tire is 295/70/17, fit is just right)

Very nice mount for a ham or cb.
Great antenna mount. It is not flimsy like other reviewers have indicated. It fits the Jeep with 35” tires and the heavy duty Mopar sore tire mount too.

Excellent Product
Just installed on my 2020 Rubicon and fits like a glove. Extremely sturdy and well built. Thought it would get in the way of my OV tires but no. Definitely recommend.

With a little help, great mount!
Installation was easy, fits perfect. But when connecting your Antenna, you need solid metal for a ground plane. You’ll need to shave off some coating about the size of a US quarter around connection points to make sure you are receiving and transmitting a good signal. Other than that little modification, looks good and is sturdy. Very pleased.

As advertised!
I got two. One left side and one right side. Great way to rear mount on my 2020 JLU Rubicon. The SWR on my rig with the appropriate grounding is perfect. 1:1.25 Super low on my COMET (drilling required) and my Midland NMO GMRS antenna. I would by more but then I would need another jeep! Great product. As Advertised.

Waste of money
Had to cut round metal antenna base with a grinder, to make this fit. Ended up stripping one of the factory bolts as well, adding to the frustration of this install. Thin metal, flexes when testing flexibility of antenna.

Easy to install & works great. You do need a flag holder to attach to this bracket.
