This matress cover is not water proof! Had liquid go through the mattress cover and make the matress wet, damage that can't be undone. Very disappointing product, I don't recommend you purchase this cover.

Works well so far (only been using it about a week so far). My toddler has spilled a drink or two on the bed since installation of the cover and seems to keep the liquid from seeping into mattress...spills spread out on the bed sheet over top instead...also very comfy to sleep on with quality bedsheets over top. Don't know how well it will hold up over time with repeated washing though since I haven't had it that long yet. However, I do use washing detergent that is safe for reusable diapers, which I think will help maintain the waterproof coating on the inside of the cover.

3 stars because I haven't needed the protective waterproof factor yet so I can't speak on that BUT this is noisy as hell (no more trying to be quiet getting in and out of bed). The top side feels like a cheap towel and underneath feels and sounds like you're laying on a plasticy puppy pad. However this fits my pillowtop mattress very well with the extra long sides. This would be a great cheap option if you have a thick mattress or a topper or even for a childs bed.

This cover is really nice. You won't know it's there and it keeps the regular mattress cover and mattress dry.We have a family member that has "problems" and this cover really reduces the amount of laundry that we have to do.This may not be a very "polite" topic but it is really very serious in a practical sense. I have ordered another of these covers so we'll always have a dry one ready.And the price is right too.

They were great at first but after about a year and a half of washing, the plastic waterproof backing behind to crack and they are no longer waterproof. We have the spots on our mattress to prove it. They simply do not hold up to potty-training toddlers.

Purchased two of these for a new king bed. Fits great and is comfortable for a waterproof cover. It's well constructed and works as advertised.Consumer tip: many memory foam mattresses have warranties that do not cover liquid spills. Get a waterproof cover like this one and keep your warranty intact.

Thrilled with this product! I placed it on my bed and unlike other mattress covers I've had you can't hear it or notice it's there! I have yet to test it out with spills so I'm not sure how it holds up but you can tell it has the plastic protector for them so I'm sure it will be fine.Update: It kept my mattress dry when my potty training LO accidentally wet the bed at night. I've already placed an order for another one!

Bought this mattress protector in anticipation of night potty training my child. Lucky for us, there were no wet beds, so I couldn't attest to the quality of this product. That is, not until an evening of the stomach flu...I would highly recommend this product, it fits the mattress well, is unnoticeable under sheets, and was able to kee our mattress free from quite a large amount of fluid in a short period of time.
