Blum Hinge Angle Restriction Clip - 86 Degree Opening (50 Pack)

This is exactly what I needed to keep my cabinet doors from opening too wide (and hitting the wall), and Amazon delivered them within 24 hours! The only challenge in buying these Blum hinge restrictor clips is to figure out which ones you need since Blum has several different types of hinges. Figured it out by searching on Google and You Tube -- the latter also helps to figure out how to install them. And if you have the hinges for frameless cabinets, you shouldn't have to unscrew the hinge from the cabinet either -- probably takes 1 minute to install the clips. Great product and easy to purchase via Amazon.

I'm a kitchen designer and use these on full overlay door hinges to keep frameless cabinet doors from knocking into a wall/hood. They work great! There are different kinds of hinges with different types of restrictors. Try to find the ones for your type of hinge. They fit right into the hinge mechanism to stop the opening degree. I buy dozens at a time to have on hand.

ist order was a pkt of 10 only 8 were included - returned, reordered the large pkt of 50, Blum hinge # 15716 specified, will not work , with the help of Home Depot rep. and Kraft Maid proper restrictors provided with a single sheet of instructions. Took less than 5 minutes per door , they work great.

This worked well with my IKEA SEKTION cabinets. They limit opening to less than 90 as advertised

There are many negative reviews for these cabinet restriction clips that appear to be caused a lack of knowledge on how to install them. The company does not provide instructions and the Youtube video I watched left out a critical part of using a vice grip or large pliers to push the clip into the slot. I could not use just my hand or a screwdriver to push the clips in. Remember to put a towel or cloth on the plyers to prevent scratching the front side of tje cabinet door.

I bought the wrong ones by mistake so I can't say how these specific ones work but the correct ones I bought work great. No interference with the walls and hearth anymore from opening too wide. Blum is quality #1

Such a simple little item that works really well on IKEA 110 degree hinges. Now I've at last found the correct item they work really well. Wish I'd found them a while ago and I wouldn't have wasted money on IKEA's rubbish 95 degree hinges. My advice is to buy 110 degree hinges and these for the particular hinges you need..

Have used these for kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Tall and short doors. These work wonderfully for my Blum hinges. It does reduce the impact of the soft close a little bit.... but maybe just dont slam your cupboard doors in anger 😂
