A solo acoustic set recorded in Austin in the 80s. A most generous cross section of Guy's great song catalog, some co-writes and hits for others, some quite rare and rarely played by Guy. If you don't know the artistry of Guy Clark's songs and singing this is a perfect place to start. For those of us who love Guy dearly this will be quite a delight.

Recorded in 1984 small Austin bar, excellent sound on this release which all of Guy's fans should grab while it's around. The DVD is great, as is the Jerry Jeff Walker release from same source---- hopefully we will get more in the future, support the cause !!!!

Excellent service and price-Real pleased

Great solo acoustic performance from one of the legendary under-valued singer-songwriters, from a relatively late phase of his creative height......his first two 1975/76 albums didn't reach enough people in the UK until 3 albums later, around the time of this recording.The DVD of this performance is also very good, especially if (like me) you managed to miss a few chances of seeing him live in the UK.The sound on this 2-cd set is, however, superior....and is easily one of the best of the flood of older "unofficial" live radio/bar/college recordings appearing just now.A pity the tracks aren't available to listen to, briefly, here.....but if you have any interest in Guy Clark's songs, just buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Nooo! I really don't like live records! But I have all the other live CDs with Mr Clark and they're ok so why not get this one too,,,?...and this one...well... I think it's a TEN star Cd!!! Guy Clark and his guitar is all you need. I don't miss anything! It's sooo PERFECT, and it's a LIVE CD... Sounds sooo great!
