It is hot by why the additives
Why not just use Wiri Wiri peppers to make the sauce red instead of using Red dye #40? Wiri Wiri is one of the hottest peppers. Or you can just mix the hot peppers with reds peppers and it will turn red. Red dye #40 at one point or another was banned in some countries and for pregnant women it is discouraged.

No Guyanese flavor no heat
I have a bottle of this from the grocery store it’s not hot. It’s not Guyanese wiri wiri pepper based. The cap is plastic and cheap. I don’t recommend. It’s not disgusting and the flavor is fine. It just doesn’t burn your tongue and doesn’t taste Guyanese
