I mounted this on the hood and winch bumper of my 4x4 to record a off road trip in the Ozark Mountains. We were on rocky trails, crossing streams, climbing big hills, traversing huge washouts and it never came off. I did use a tether just in case it was knocked loose but I don't think it ever was.

Flat surface only

I used this on my motorcycle windshield. It worked great! Stable and strong suction. Granted you have to have a nearly flat spot on your windshield for it to work. It does come with a metal cable tether, so if it comes loose it won't hit the ground. I went on a1500 mile motorcycle trip and did not come off once. I did take it off and remount it every morning.

I tried to use this product several times and it would keep falling off, no wonder it comes with a cable. I used it on a clean windshield and before I could get in the car it would fall off. I tried it on several areas of the car that have a flat, non porous, clean surface and there was no way this mount was holding, even before the car would move. I tried it on my homes sliding glass door and it worked for about 45 seconds. Junk.

Seems really solid, and has multiple adjustments.

The media could not be loaded.  Build looks decent. And the suction cup is insane! Trying lifting it off the table and I couldn’t. If anyone has problems with the suction, I don’t understandMake sure the surface is flat AND clean. Should work just fine! Camera not included of course lol

No suction to dash. Waste of time and money.
