Smart Decisions International 32 GB Cryptex USB Flash Drive, Special Edition (Black)

Well it just arrived after a long anticipated waiting period (okay so it wasn't that long haha). But I'm super happy with the item and am rating it 5 stars because of the feeling and knowledge that whatever I put onto this drive will stay out of reach of people that shouldn't see what's on it. I would highly recommend this product! The one thing that I'm a little upset about is not being able to change the combination on the casing for the flash drive but I'll live with it because I love everything else about it.

Well built little drive, cool factor a 10. However I have found 1 computer that the drive does not work in, all other drives work just fine just not this one.

As stated by other customers, the code cannot be changed, but if you're skilled enough it can be rearranged. I'm personally satisfied with the code given, but the mechanism is simple enough. The build quality is quite nice for the price, though I wish the numbers were engraved instead of printed. Sometimes the USB is a little loose and rattles a bit, but it's a strong attachment. The USB storage itself performs as expected for a USB 3 device without any errors, and is currently being used to boot multiple OS's. Nifty little device!

I would describe this as more of a novelty item than something you would buy for practical use. I found it a little awkward to unlock the device, but I then got the hang of it. I don’t like the way the contraption appears to be screwed together, you know it’s just a matter of time before it falls apart and you are on the ground looking for those little screws....or trying to find a screwdriver to put it back together. I also wish the drive itself had an LED light on it to show that it’s active. Virtually every other memory stick I have has a little LED which flickers when it’s reading. This is completely dark and there’s no visual indication. It does appear to work well as a memory device, and it is kind of cute as a toy. But if you’re thinking of this for practical purposes, you might be disappointed. This is not CIA endorsed security!

At first I could hardly turn the wheels Finally they did loosen up a little. The instructions for setting the combination could be clearer. However I finally did get it and the flash drive worked just great

it will not plug into the USB port on my computer. I'm not an expert, but it appears that the circuit board is improperly mounted.

I purchased a less expensive model and unfortunately the innards didn't work (16 GB). I purchased the 32 GB model and ALL of it works like a charm!

De très bonne qualité par rapport à l'autre clé (ronde), celle ci est magnifique et très solide ! Achetée il y a un an, elle est toujours en parfaite état et fonctionne très bien

Das Gerät sieht urig aus ist wertig verarbeitet und liegt ziemlich schwer in der Hand. Wenn man den Stick dann noch verschlüsselt geht man echt auf Nummer sicher ;)
