It worked for a while, but recently when I opened it it could not close, even though I had the right combination. I twisted the reset ring and it closed, but would not re-open with the old combination. I also tried 0000 and 1234 to no avail. I no longer have the original combination to unlock it, so I am up the creek. I can find a phone number to contact the manufacturer.

I bought this to lock my jacket to the handlebars on my bike and it worked great, You put the lock through the sleeves of your jacket and lock it around your handle bars etc.. The cable coils back up so its easy to carry with you.

I bought this to lock my helmet to the bike. I set the combination per instructions, tested it several times, everything was fine. Same day, I went to meet some friends and locked my helmet to the rear crash bar. When I set out to start up for home, the lock would not open! I dialed it back to 0000, nothing. I checked and rechecked the combination, it was correct, the lock would not open. I ended up uncoiling enough cable to somewhat secure the helmet to the pillion and rode home helmetless. Tried again at home. I had written the combination down just in case. Nothing. I'll be buying bolt cutters tomorrow. Thanks, Stockton, because I can't open your lock having done everything according to your instructions and even testing it, the first time it counted, I risked my life on a ride home with no helmet and now have to cut the garbage off my bike to use my helmet!
