Large size book with nice colored graphics for a Christmas gift

This book is so packed with detail and lore that I couldn't resist buying even though I knew the binding would fall apart. The same day i got it, i opened it and it fell to peices. I decided to take the time to take each page out, hole punch it, and add it to a binder to make it a complete book again. If your willing to put in the time for this, I seriously recommend it. Just for the information alone, I give it 5 stars! Note for MHW players, this book does not cover the Witcher monster or Behemoth, as they are not part of the Monster Hunter world. Please take the time to put this book back together, it is so worth it!

Not a complete Dumpster fire,like others are claiming,unless I lucked out and gotten a better quality book.Which is possible,book is NOT worth 35-40 dollars.

I bought the book because I loved playing the game. I also love art and this book was available at a cheap price compared to other game artbooks.Well the reason it is cheap is because it is cheaply made. The spine and pages started falling out at the first (1st) reading!As far as content goes, I was hoping for more concept art and "behind the scenes" stuff. Pretty disappointed that over half of the book is just glossary of the monsters and location--something you expect to find in-game. I've already played the game; I've already seen it/ don't need that info.. There was only half a page of concept art for each monster and only a tiny bit of dev commentary.Still worth seeing if you are a fan of the game and like art.

Let me start off by saying this book, is absolutely amazing, I love it to death and I'm still reading in it even to this very day, because it huge book. I highly recommend it to any Monster Hunter fan, I guarantee, you will love it! Especially if you are a Monster Hunter fan who loves Monster Hunter lore, and concept art~!That being said, there is one issue with the book, it's the fact that it's TOO thick! Because of the thickness of the book, the binding can't really hold all the pages properly. As I was reading through it, some of the pages got loose and fell out. Now nothing a bit of very carefully planted super glue can't fix. But the thing is I shouldn't have to do this, in the first place. I do feel like there will be an Iceborne version at some point in the future, but I think the company would be better off going hard cover next time, or dividing it into two books instead of one huge one. Or if they do still chose to do the same thing, at the very least, make sure the binding can take it, so that no pages fall out.All in all, 5/5 Highly recommend!

Despite having a copious amount of time in the game, I still absolutely loved going through this book. The early concept art and the illustrations of the monsters/characters are beautiful. It goes in depth for each monster and character in base game World as well as the history of each locale.

This book is beautiful! It is full of information and beautiful artwork from the game.
