Between the so-called restrictions of her faith and the so-called freedom of the world, Megan Hughes favors the world. Things change drastically, however, when her plane crashes on a business trip. Along with two of her co-workers--the arrogant, office-crush Mark Taylor and the office-nobody Chris Russell--she finds herself stranded on an island. Now isolated from civilization, Megan embarks on a journey to discover what it really means to be rescued.

Adoption: Why. Now, Get Involved!!
Excellent movie for the Church, who needs to step up in this area. The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is the script, which talks about rescuing the adopted children "for salvation" -- with the children sitting right there. *I* understand what the adults mean, but can you imagine the children listening? Major mistake, screenwriters.Nevertheless, the message here for the listening adults is powerful and cannot be ignored. These children need GOD'S UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. The kind of love only His spiritually healthy children can give to His orphaned little ones.As for adopting children from the US -- if you adopt from the foster sytem, it is almost FREE. As for adopting internationally, my friends adopted 3 from China in under 3 years using grants and fundraisers alone! The adoption community is huge!! And those who have gone before you are excited to help! Start with Reece's Rainbow on FB. If they aren't the area you are looking for, they'll point you in the right one!!

Solid biblical view of adoption
This DVD provides an excellent overview of biblical teaching regarding adoption and how Christians should and can be engaged in this ministry. The real-life stories and experiences add a compelling human dimension. We plan on using this as a resource to help others understand God's command to care for the orphan.
