...but that should have been obvious (to me it wasn't, but that's on me.) Not much use for hand held. Would be great for situations where you can't see through the lens (think of putting the camera on a mantle or in a book case.)This has been very useful at night when I can't get a good fix on a reference point for level. It's a little larger than I imagined, but it is very easy to see and make adjustments from. I would recommend this product.

This is probably the most inexpensive little add on you will ever buy for your camera....and something you will use all the time. I find it more convenient to slip this into my hot shoe instead of use the leveling guide on the camera itself. I probably need to get a couple more of these in case I ever misplaced the one I have. I use it every time I go out to shoot landscapes.

Hard to read for me, not good for my application. I found a round bubble level to be more useful. Visibility is good, quality is good, just not my style.

Made of fairly hard plastic. 3 axis is more useful than 2 axis. I gave - 1 star only because there is some roughness to the fit and finish.

Cheap, and it does the job.To be honest, I'm not sure that it's accurate, but it works well enough so that I don't have to do much post-processing work when it comes to leveling the images.Plus, inherently, the design provides for all 3 orthogonal axes, so it's great that I don't have to rotate it when I rotate my camera.

Perfect bubble level for hotshoe mount. It fits very snugly into several shoe mounts i've used so it wont just fall out. Very accurate and I highly recommend to anyone who needs to make sure you quickly and efficiently they are on a level surface when shooting.

Fits too loose in the camera shoe (Nikon)....it can be turned several degrees .....if a level is loose then...by definition it is not level. Returned and bought another kind with reviews of being the opposite (too tight), however one costumer specified you sand it down a little and then it fits perfect...will try
