OK so clearly I didn't love it however my girlfriend did which ultimately benefited me, hence the 5 star review. Long story short, she's always loosing her bobby pins at my house (it's a pretty intense book club) and then complaining about never having any with her so I decided to just order a pack to keep at my house for her, I figured it was a win/win as it saves her having to hunt rogue pins down and me from having to starve to death waiting for her to get ready. As expected, the next time she was over, she lost some/all her pins and so I pointed her to the drawer to which once she got over the initial shock and awe that a man just bought bobby pins she then scrutinized them quite thoroughly because a man had just bought bobby pins. She looked at the color, the tightness of the pin, how it held its shape after it was pulled and about a dozen other tests I didn't even know where possible or necessary to perform on a hair pin but hey in the end they passed and after about a dozen or two pins and only 20 minutes instead of an hour we were finally on our way to dinner... well almost, she wanted to thank me first. #winning!

These bobby pins are a lifesaver. I have dark, thick, curly hair and regular bobby pins fall out almost immediately, if I can even get them to grab onto my hair normally. These are different. They hold so much hair, never do that weird thing where the top and bottom prongs will splay out sideways, they never lose their rubber tips or their springiness. I never thought there could be such a difference in something as small and basic as a bobby pin, but now I know!

I have waist length, incredibly thick smooth hair. Previously, I never spent more than $1 on a pack of bobby pins from the Dollar Tree or WalMart because I lose every single one of them. I got sick of them slipping out of my hair and never doing their job so I randomly googled "best bobby pins" and saw these mentioned as number one in the article. I am SO happy I "splurged" on this pack of bobby pins!! I prefer the really long bobby pins just because my hair is so heavy and there is a lot of it, but these are perfect. I'm super pleased with them and will probably order some of the longer length ones.

Is it normal to LOVE a bobby pin? I have spent years trying to find bobby pins equal to ones a hairdresser used for my hair as a brides maid. These are amazing. The bend and closure is tight, but smooth to put in and remove, the paint does not chip off and the covered end is solid – it's not going to come off easily. I have been reusing a dozen of these for 6 months and they show no wear. They are the forever bobby pin – buy them once and they will last.

I was in hair style despair! A shoddy cut left it uneven and only curling would hide it, and make me cute again. Curling iron is good for the front, but only pin curls can give beautiful bounce and fullness in the back.I bought some at drugstore and OMG even more despair. Horrible thin twist as you try to open them. They are curved, not straight, and slide out in seconds. I made do only because I could find no options, the quality was abysmal.Despair no more, these are The Real Deal. Strong, the grip is tight yet opens easily, no twisting, and Stays in Place. Enough to stow a few in your purse, at work, in the car, bedroom, lose some and you'll still have a bunch.I don't give 5 stars much but these are that and more. Thank you!

The product itself is fantastic. These are the best bobby pins I’ve ever used. They look nice, feel substantial, hold my thin hair exceptionally well, and can be used repeatedly without stretching out. My problem is that I ordered these pins because they came in a handy holder. The pins I’ve been using for years have either been loose or stuck on a piece of cardboard in a drawer. I liked that I could sit these on my bathroom counter. The holder arrived crushed. So I returned them for a replacement. The replacement arrived broken as well. So I love the bobby pins, but I don’t have a holder for them. I probably won’t return this one because the holidays are tiring me out. I just don’t understand why a fragile container is being mailed in an unpadded envelope. How could they possibly arrive without the holder breaking?

The bobby pins themselves are excellent, albeit pricey compared to the kind you get at the drugstore. I have a ton of thick, smooth, hard to hold hair so I'm willing to pay more. The container is a good size and would be great for storage if it had better withstood shipping. Unfortunately it was damaged in transit (cracked diagonally on the bottom, but still in one piece). It's useable for now but I'm going to have to be very careful with it. That said, the pins are really high quality and the canister would be great it it hadn't come damaged.

These are amazing. I have really thick hair and am used to playing hide and go seek with 100 bobby pins just to hold an up- do. These guys have amazing grip and are far better quality than your typical store bought ones. I highly recommend.

They are pricey let's not deny it. But these bobby pins hold up my thin short straight hair (chin length) like no other bobby pin can. When you look at the price you might ask yourself what's the point if I'm going to lose them, right? Well you can't lose them, they stay in your hair! They don't rust, they don't lose their coating (no more ouchie). They just work really well! Highly recommend for thin hair, short hair, or hair with no texture.

These are the strongest bobby pins I have ever used in my entire life. You will only need to buy new ones after losing all of them in every room. Can only recommend
