Dual-Voltage Ceramic Ionic Flat Iron by Hybrinetics

I got this hair straightener specifically so I could use it when I travel outside of US. I preferred not bringing one but since I have so many layers in my hair I had to. A lot of hair straighteners are not dual voltage and I didn't want to purchase a converter because those don't always work and I didn't want to risk my expensive hair straightener to break. When I tried this hair straighter, yes it did heat up fast and was quite hot. However it pulled out a lot of my hair. It doesn't glide well and the plates don't fully bind together so it doesn't straighten nicely. It was not worth the price for what it does. Using this hair straightener made me more appreciative of the one I have. If your looking for a hair straightener to take with you when you travel get a Hot N Silky Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron 1" its dual voltage and super smooth when going through your hair.

Perhaps I've gotten too used to my Solia professional grade flat iron (which sadly is only US voltage), but this one didn't glide smoothly through my hair and it took multiple passes to flatten my thin hair. It was OK for quick fixes while traveling but I would not want to straighten all my hair with this product. I returned it and will pay more for a better quality dual voltage iron for travel.

This is an awesome flat iron. I have really curly and unmanageable (at times) hair. I went to Greece so I needed to purchase something I could use in Greece and it just so happens you can use it in the US too. Awesome product, does the job.

Dual-Voltage Ceramic Ionic iron never worked. I received it March 24, 2018 - took it on vacation 31March to Florence Italy - when I plugged it in the blue ON light would come on but immediately go out and iron wouldn’t heat. To.add insult to not having an iron for my whole vacation- THE PRODUCT IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN!!! $60.00 - down the drain. Shame on the seller and Amazon

This flat iron worked really well during my trip to Italy. All you need is the adapter and you are good to go!! It heats up really quickly and really smoothed my somewhat curly hair. I highly recommend this product if you will be traveling abroad.

I bought this dual voltage flat iron with the main purpose of using it during my trip to Spain a couple of months ago. It worked wonderfully in Spain, and had no problems with the different voltage. This is now my 'every day' hair tool, and it will travel with me next year when I go to Italy.

Does not blink to indicate is heating up.

Bought this for my wife because we were going to Italy. She complained because it was smaller than her normal one.She uses it every day now. Worked perfect in Italy and Oklahoma.
