After my son dropped my mother-in-law's phone rendering it lifeless, I was able to determine the screen was likely the issue given that iTunes still recognized it when plugged in. I ordered this screen replacement, and am pleased to report that her phone works beautifully now. With that said, the installation was a bit more complicated than I had originally thought it would be, and it may be too complicated for some. This screen comes without the home button, camera, and microphone, so you are tasked to remove from your old phone and install them on the new screen before putting into your phone. The instructions were great through the disassembly portion, but they leave the reinstallation of components to you to do all of the previous steps backwards on the new phone. The iPhone camera, in particular, was tricky to reinstall given just how tiny all of the components were. The full installation took me a fairly tedious 45 - 60 minutes, although, with the final product working as well as it does, it's hard to complain. It's just worth knowing this isn't as easy as removing the old screen and putting in the new one.

I decided to give this a try when my daughter dropped her phone - I'm so glad I did! I agree with other reviews that watching a YouTube tutorial makes the process a little easier. You will have to move a couple of components over from your old screen, but it's absolutely doable. A great alternative to over-priced repair shops if you're willing to give it a try!

I'm shocked this actually worked. It definitely takes a little time and patience. Watch a video to help you get through the directions. If your phone doesnt turn on right away, do a hard reset by holding the home and side button for 40+ seconds until it resets. So glad I saved $100 by purchasing this product instead of having someone else replace my screen.

Good screen replacement kit. The only important thing to say is you need to At least have basic knowledge with Phone technology To assist with the breakdown and put back of your own phone. The only con is that you need a phone case for the new screen because it is like a little delicate flower so don’t Drop it if you don’t have a case on it

Everything came as described in the description. I’m glad the waterproof (blue thing lol) came with it. Others I looked at were around 25-30 then you had to buy the other thing for 7-10. This was much cheaper. I’m very pleased with the fast delivery. We will be putting it on my daughters phone and I will add pictures later on.

I purchased this item a month now but it worked great on my broken iPhone screen and received all the items in the package as mentioned. My phone looks brand new. Thank you guys.

After fighting with the installation for some time, I noticed one of the connector ribbons has a connector that is smaller than the original; just enough that it's not obvious unless you measure it with calipers. There was no information with the part for contact information for the manufacturer, not even a name. Amazon did a fine job with the return.

The display is nice and bright, although the colors are not as vivid as the original screen provided. The biggest issue I have is the touchscreen is very insensitive and I find myself having to go back and retype things which is very frustrating. I am taking the glass screen protector off hoping it helps, but then I'm more vulnerable to breakage. I won't use this kit next time.
