Very disappointed. Not worth the money. It only came with a few pieces of candy.

I had a bit of hesitation about ordering this because of the reviews. However, I just received it and have to say I am not disappointed at all. First of all it is a novelty gift...I bought it to finish off a theme package for someone who was born in the 80s. I do expect to pay a bit more for novelty gifts. Yes, I could get these things seperate but that would take up my time and effort and I would not have it in the 1980s box that this came in...it is all part of the novelty. Nothing was opened and the box was completely sealed with plastic wrap. The box is also quite larger than I expected. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I expected something a bit more substantial for a price. I was planning to give that as prize for a 80’s costume contest, but ended up adding more candies and making a basket.

the graphics on the box are great. I sed as a centerpiece for my daughters birthday, with ribbon and balloon on it at the top. Everyone was interested in what candy she had as a young girl. No, there is not much candy. I am sure some may still be available. But a busy professional who is a mom, doesn't go buy candy for herself. She was delighted. I am sure this box itself will survive for many more decades. If you are looking for a lb or more of candy, look elsewhere.

This is not what I remember from the 80s and this is not what I expected for $20. I feel completely ripped off and super disappointment. They don’t even do returns. I’m gonna let my kids have this. 🙄
