For the price this hat meets expectations. It's very lightweight and when you're wearing it you barely notice it, so, for the most part, it does it's job. The only reason I took a star away is because the hat is quite small - something that can't be aided by the adjustable strap - and falls off quite easily while lying down, bending over, etc. I bought this hat to wear in the gym for when my hair gets full of sweat and so I didn't waste time messing with it in the mirror. If you are buying this for the same reason, just know that it's not quite secure on your head.

I was looking for a new hat, suitable to protect me from the sun while out doing photography.In the past I've worn a standard baseball cap which caused 2 problems. 1.The peak gets in the way if looking through the camera.2. My head got really hot and sweaty.I saw the reviews for this hat and thought I'd see how it fared. Wore it out today for the first time and loved it.Its really comfortable to wear. It's so lightweight on your head and doesn't pinch or rub.It protected me from the sun and my head stayed pretty cool- previously I would take my cap off and my hair would be completely wet. Not today!It's peak is big enough to keep the sun from your eyes, but didn't hamper me using my camera.It's easy to shove in a bag or pocket when not needed.Also, because of the shape of the crown, I can wear it without putting my ponytail through the gap, which is a real bonus for me. I can take off and put it on really quickly and easily.Overall, I'm really happy with it and would recommend to anyone. I hope it lasts well as I can see it getting a lot of use over the summer.

Brilliant cap. Feels good and looks good too. Seems to be water resistant. The mesh on the side makes it breathable. Walked up Ingleborough on a sunny day and felt my head was protected from the sun, whilst not sweating that much with it on. Super!

Nice hat and very lightweight with a good range of adjustability. For me the downside is that it isn’t very deep, so sits on the top of my head and doesn’t come far enough down towards my ears.
