Scientific Explorer Bouncy Ball Blast

Beware that "makes 6 balls" does NOT mean two of each of the three sizes. It makes 5 small ones and 1 big one. Do not tap the powder/ grains to settle them as you go, or else it will explode out of the mold once it hits the water. If this does happen, I was able to cup it in my hands, squeezing it into a ball shape, under running water for a few minutes. The directions for this activity were very simplistic and not clear enough, and there was NO science included (no explanation of what this was, nothing at all!!!) as I'd expected from the brand name. Still, I give it 3 stars because the kids did create a few bouncy balls that actually worked for a couple weeks before crumbling!

My 8 year old and 2 year old tore into this after watching a video. The package has enough product to make 2 small and 2 large balls. They bounce well compared to other diy bouncy balls we have tried in the past. Buyers should be aware that these balls will not last long and need to be stored in ziplocs.

Although I definitely need to help with this project, we both thoroughly enjoy both the process and the finished product. This is the second time I have purchased this product because of how much he enjoys it. My only negative is that the forms are sometimes difficult to put together and occasionally have broken a part in the process of filling them.

My kids loved this!! Easy to do and works great! Just make sure you do it at the kitchen table or outside with little ones

This kit was so fun for all my kids. I found it super fun and easy to do with my kids. The only downside to this was the bouncing balls harden if you don't keep them in a container
